Maybe I'm gonna do a pvp version of the pack with fancier swords, bows, items and better performance since there are a lot of pvp minecraft players out there

Yeah thats a good idea to include both variants. I think I'll go with the shaded one as the default setting.
What i also could do, is to include connected textures to every color + the unpainted version. That would be alot of work, but it looks nice. Maybe I'll concentrate on that later on.

You could get some inspirations from the old GTA 3 liberty city. They managed to create this "city feeling" with just a few streets.

GUIs are allmost finished but now I've ran into a problem: I used to make my hardened clay seamless, so you couldn't tell where one block ends and where the other one starts, that kind of texture is helpful for natural generated materials like stone, dirt etc. And since hardened and colored clay occurs in the minecraft world generation, a seamless texture fits perfect. But on the other hand, the slightly-shaded and not seamless clay I'm using right now looks so much nicer in interiors of houses or well designed areas like server-spawns:
this is the shaded clay
What do you guys think, is a shaded and not seamless hardened clay texture better than a seamless one?

I am currently redoing all the GUIs because the old ones I had looked flat and ugly.
Here I'm trying to create an useful background for the inventory and crafting table. It's gonna be a mess cleaning up that gunpowder. But I hope it will be worth

This is the continuation of my my old texturepack "DaffCraft" (You can download the 1.8 version HERE) back from 2013. I decided to remake the entire pack and re-publish it under a different name: FantenCraft
I am 19 years old, just finished school and got too much time on my hands. So I decided to dig out my old texturepack and polish it again to fit the new beauty standards. But why "Fanten"-Craft? Fanten, or rather fant is just a nickname for my dogs. And I decided it would make a good name for my resourcepack, therefore FantenCraft came to existence. If you want to see my dogs, just open the spoiler.
This is Blizzy, a white shepherd dog.....................................And this is Floyd, a shepherd- wedon'tknowwhat-mix
A word about ad.fly: I hate adfly. (If you don't know what adfly is you probably have never downloaded content on this platform.) I hate the ugly advertisements, those lame WIN 100000!!! $$$ autoplay videos that pop up on the screen as soon as you click the link and the fact that they refuse to redirect me to the download site if I have adblock enabled. And I apologize for your inconvenience, because I use adfly too. The reason is that it is A LOT of work to create a 64 by 64 resourcepack for Minecraft and I am planning to do a Work and Travel in the beautiful country New Zealand in half a year. The flight (Germany - New Zealand = half around the planet) is incredible expensive. So I am just trying to make some money to finance my Work and Travel.
There are two versions of FantenCraft: The normal version and the Dark Edition. Dark Edition is just a fancy name for a less vibrant, more realistic and darker version. A few posts down below you can find a comparison between both variants.
This is the normal version:
And here is the Dark Edition:

Time for FantenCraft
I will post further updates about the pack so stay tuned!

I deleted all the random/ repeated textures, because they don't work wihout optifine or MCpatcher and made some new textures that work with the new integrated random texture method in version 1.8. I haven't converted all the old optifine supported natural textures, but there's more to come and to experiment with.
Maybe I take a look on the new 3d moddeling feature, that looks quite interesting...

Anyway, I'm too lazy to write a complete changelog, basically, I redesigned lots of the old textures, changed some crappy ones and made some new prismarine stuff and whatsoever. And I tried a new "flat design" presentation. Slightly inspired by some sites...
I hope you enjoy it, and remember:
