Should have mentioned that Sanctuary.servegame.com is brand new, 2 days old, with 26-32 age group. Currently 3 players, so brand new, low population so far, fresh world to use.
Will your server remain open to the public or do you plan on making it whitelisted? We wanted to avoid a mass logins, grief, noncommunity players and depart mentality. Not to mention those random "derp towers" that spot the landscape that takes away from the immersion

I'm speaking on the behalf of a group of players who just lost their home. It has been down for almost a week and we have not been in contact with the owner. We are hoping for the best but we want to keep our options open, and keep our group of friends together on a potential new home.
Our player base range from Europe to the States with an age group between 20s and late 30's. We have a wide range of skills; including but not limited to epic building, redstone, and survivalist. Our previous, or current home, is a Ultra Hard Core Vanilla server and we are looking for something with the same UHC setting and if possible, Amplified , for the added danger.

Being an avid scuba diver and snorkeler, gets me close to the wildlife of the sea and sometimes to close.
I do have a new goal I want to obtain; certified sports aviator. I love ultra lights and I want to get my hours in and buy a light craft too! So many toys......, I feel like I need more of me.
I'm also the general manager a private company that works for the Department of Defense. In time I will be taking over the whole business but during the quiet days at work, you can find me logging into minecraft to expand my dwellings or brewing a new potion. I am married with 4 kids, 3 dogs and 2 cats and yes, we are trying for a new baby. Trying is fun but in the end you get really busy
For the days I need some relaxation, I tend to listen to my music or even play the keyboard if my wrist isn't giving me issues. And of course a good movie or two in my own personal semi home theatre
How long have you been playing minecraft: I would say at least 2 years. Somewhere near the end of alpha
Have you ever been banned? Nope. Not much to type about that.
Have you played on any other servers and why did you stop? Yes, several. Most have closed or it felt like I was just playing single player game. Other severs, the community was lacking or I found the players to "out of control" "immature" and sometimes I look for different challenges. I do still play on a couple of servers that I have my current projects going.
Why would you like to join the server? Its vanilla, which I do enjoy and its Hardcore which I'm really excited about. I like the hard core survival aspect, and I had never tried it on a multiplayer setting. I would like to make some new friends who have similar mindsets as I do. I don't expect to find many players around my age but I have found some good people and made lasting friendships. On this server, I believe I can actually play and not worry about having to donate to get special perks and abilities. And I don't mind doing things for someone and working in teams. I'm looking to play at the same level as everyone else and actually work together. Its a game, lets have fun without making misery for everyone else.
What is your forte in minecraft? Well, I do enjoy building and resource gathering. I have build several small to large keeps in survival and let me tell ya, it takes time and effort. When I do mine, I'm a crazy clean freak. I tend to "smooth out" the natural tunnels so I can have some order on where I'm working at and that also includes repairing creeper damages. I also do weird things like, replacing the missing log so the tree doesn't look like it is floating. Oh my favorite, repairing the water line; nothing like a wall of water and now soil to keep it up.. or is that magic??
I do enjoy making transportation hubs, small villages with in a castle wall. I was actually building an underground keep on a hexxit server. But it gets tough when you work alone is a very hostile area.
How often will you be online? I would believe at least 5 hours a day. It also depends how busy I'm at work and home so sometimes even more.
Any questions? When 1.7 is release will you be expanding the world size and/or will you be resetting the map since 1.7 is about the biome changes I believe. Branch mining? I'm not quite sure what you are referring to but I do "natural" mining in what the server generates. I don't go lvl 12-16 and mine in straight lines and hope to find diamonds. I find that, just boring and unnatural. Is this what you are referring to?

Hey, I'm looking for a server to join! The title basically says it all. It doesn't have to be 100% vanilla, I don't mind small mods as long as the basic game-play is in tact .
If you enjoy Minecraft survival and are looking for a little more danger, we would love to have you onboard and give us a test run. Simply an amazing mod to utilized with minecraft. It really adds a lot more life and danger in the world; so much more entertaining. I've enjoyed this mod so much in single player, I decided to finally incorporated to our server. So we added the mod and refreshed the map and are enjoying it.

Buggy but a great update. My first world load on this update spawn me on a tiny tiny island with a single tree and as far as I can see was nothing but water but a few tiny islands of grass or flowers. This update brought it to another level of survival. Had to scavage for seeds to grow food so I wouldnt starve to death. And with a single tree, it takes time to make tools!
