    Andre, I've been wondering what the silvery bit on both the cooked and raw porkchop is. I've always assumed that the piece of meat was speared on some kind of flatware, but I'd like to hear what it is from the actual creator.

    Thanks for this great pack, Andre! I hope you will keep on updating it, because I believe it is one of the best texture packs in here :iapprove:



    My guess is that when you tame the wolves, you grant them a little hat that ends up covering their ears which is why they are not visible. It is nice of you to provide an alternative with ears, though.

    Kudos to the generator. I have to say, its good. For the next hour. It honestly gets very boring, and very dull. (128x128) The map itself is very hard (Too hard) to play legit, which I wanted to. I hear people complaining about the trees. TREES. I facepalm at this. Explore a dungeon. Its littereally a labyrinth.

    Yeah. Its a trap. I had to say, they were pretty cool. After (Again) an hour. After 2 hours of exploring the same thing over and over and over again, the brick wall (Or sandstone now...) gets really boring. Stone plates can now be avoided, and so can CACTUS TRAPS (Was that suppose to be a CHALLENGE?). It's not even the traps that make it hard. It's the monsters. Ever 2 meters you walk, you bump into a creeper (Or 2, or 3, or 10.) and a skeleton. And even worse. every 10 meters is a huge hole that you need to cross by building a bridge out of bricks, because that's all you have. These mazes are 2000000000 blocks long. Of the same thing. It doesn't get fun.

    And when you DO! get to the end, what do you get?! (Litterally me and my friend's conversation)

    "Are we out?"
    "No. Need another golden apple? I spawned some more (We came in with 3 pork chops, thinking its a small little thing)."
    "Nope. It think this is the end! Light!"
    "Oh cool, a chest! Lets open it..."
    "Sure." -Opens chest....-


    OMGWTFBBQ

    30 arrows and a bow.

    After spawning about 2000 arrows and 64 bows and 2000 golden apples and torches and needing to warp to my friend about 20 times after saying we'll be playing hardcore mode with this. Wat?



    Don't get me wrong, its a really good generator, with really good maps and traps and building/structures and volcanoes, but it loses its luster, and I don't think that ANY treasure will be able to make up for the time that you spend in the darkness, eating your hacked items, fighting 20 creepers at once. You are probably a very good person at... writing code and stuff. All I have to say is that you should make things more interesting, and not so repetitious.

    Well, this is just revolting. I've made a point of adding this to my selection of texture packs. As it has been said earlier in the thread, there's been many attempts at making a texture pack something like this (few of which are/were very polished), and you have renewed my hope in seeing one of these actually finished. Full steam ahead, you twisted *******!

    In addition to these chicken traps, there's a good amount of landmine traps (pressure plate on top of stone on top of a TNT) and if you're not on peaceful, the mobs will frequently trigger these traps if you are within range of them, even if this is on the surface.

    I'd first like to say that this is a smashing good map generator; it makes me wish there were more out there like this. I've set up camp next to an oasis in a fine patchwork tent and make regular excursions out into the wild to plunder and explore dungeons, and I have to say that suits me just fine.

    I have noticed, however, that it is very difficult to get started with the maps generated given the fact that there is very little wood to be found, and until one finds an oasis, one is very frequently subject to the full wrath of the desert. I have not done anything like an exhaustive search through all the generator can do for me in terms of dungeons (I feel I have only scratched the surface to be sure) but I imagine it would be worth it to add some chests into the catacombs that contained rare and hard-to-find resources, namely wood, flint, (maybe saplings?) and dirt. If that were the case, it would motivate a given explorer to brave the darkness so that they may carve out a place for themselves in the sand without having to comb the desert looking for an oasis.

    I retract my statement if this is already in the mod; as I have said, I have not done a thorough search through every dungeon.

    For those of us who aren't aware, the version release of Jolicraft 2 is a prank, apparently performed in honor of April First, otherwise known as April Fool's Day. It is not a legitimate release, and I imagine it was done for the sake of lighthearted humor. Jolicraft version 2.5 is an actual release, and available on this page if I'm not mistaken.

    On a more relevant note, I really enjoy this pack for its whimsical feel and Italian(?) color scheme (it makes me think of Italy for some reason).
