If it's Bukkit, then there's your reason. Bukkit allowed you to use any name you want to log in.
If it's not, then you have onilne mode off, in which case: You can enter with any name you want.
Sorry for posting something that isn't an application, but I came up with a cool way to introduce Quidditch into Minecraft (Unless you're using Bukkit):
Every person stands on a certain point.
Goalies have teleportation items that move them around three points, the three goals.
All people have a slowness 14 effect (Can't move) and have to turn and hit the ball towards the goal, or pass it to another player.
Bludgers:
Two ghasts that roam around the stadium and shoot fire balls at players at random, and they have finite health.
The Quaffle: is a ghast fireball that the players can hit to bounce it around, and the goals are unlit nether portals.
Chasers:
Can teleport all around the place with teleport items.
Their job is to hit the ghast ball towards the goals.
Beaters:
Get a special bow, that does nothing to players, but can kill the ghasts, thus reseting their targeting.
The Keeper:
Stands in front of the goals and attempts to hit off the quaffle.
Can teleport around three stations, each near a goal.
Seeker:
Has a bow that can only hurt the bat with speed 10, and once the bat dies, the one who hit it gets a 150 points, and the game is over.
I am looking for a good Redstoner, that is also good with command blocks.
The thing that has always kept me back from completing maps is that I pretty much broke from stress.
I'm rather good myself, not with the big binary memory and control units, but rather with things like maps...
But I can't do it all on my own.
Specifically, I'm working on an RPG-esque map with massive multiplayer.
I have figured out most of the mechanics, but the work load is too much for one person.
And I'm sure there are many like me, and so if you are, please do tell me, and both our problems will be fixed
I'm not talking about help for a few hours, though.
I'm talking about multiple large projects, if you're up for it.
Hello, I'm looking for a server where everyone's automatically operators, whitelist with applications, and is meant for everyone to come in and show off command block knowledge and share interesting ideas...

4.) Do you have at least a basic understanding of Minecraft logic gates?(Such as AND, OR, XOR, etc.): Yeah, more than basic...
5.) Can you put those logic gates together to make a working device?: Yep.
6.) Evidence of redstone creation(This includes pictures, videos, schematics, and even world saves): I don't have the TNT cannon anymore, nor do I most of my worlds, but I started over and uploaded some videos with basic Redstone things and concepts to YouTube...
