According to some popular YouTubers, we may see build battle happening in a future update. I still don't trust YouTube, so don't hold your breath though.
Now my thoughts on the others:
Trade Battle - Not a great idea for a reason:
Where do you get emeralds, and how many does each player get? If everyone got the same number of emeralds, everyone would get the same thing.
Capture the Banner: This one is a great idea with PvP enabled.
Hide and Seek: I'm pretty mixed on this one. Because of 4J's incompetent developing, they may not put team only communication, people would just rat out others.
Parkour: This one can be hosted in a word, therefore, it does not need a minigame after itself
Pig Racing: Pig....Racing? Name makes no sense, but racing on a pig is sure fun.
Mining Spree: ...You can host it on a world. Therefore, it does not need a minigame after itself
Tag the Sheep: same as Mining Spree, but I see this happening.
Minecraft Quiz: would be too easy. I dont see this happening.
If the rumors are true, Build Off, or known as "Build Battle" will be a new minigame in a future update (highly doubt it though)
