If you want to change the snow biome, replace the level.dat with this one: http://www.mediafire.com/?2ydk4db417hou91 (2.1)

Do you happen to know the coordinates for the slime chunk?
Edit: If you want to change the snow biome, replace the level.dat with this one: http://www.mediafire.com/?2ydk4db417hou91 (2.1)

SkyBlock is in a snow biome... Put a torch next to the water/ice or put a block on top of it, And it shouldn't freeze again.

The SMP spawn radius is in a 20x20 area, SkyBlock is smaller therefor when you spawn your going to fall in that 20x20 radius, there is a good chance you can land on the island but most likely you will fall into the void, once you die in the void it will spawn you farther and farther away trying to pick another spawn which then led you to the mainland. Try flying to SkyBlock (X=0 Z=0) and using a bukkit plugin that eliminates the 20x20 radius and set one spawn.
of course :wink.gif:

Yeah, but before SkyBlock was extremely popular and probably the week after I posted it, I have noticed alot of look alike's most of them using the same map (known after looking at the seed) but enlarging it or changing the way the island looked.

I'm sure it will pass, though I see where you are coming from, seeing a small map with a chest full of items seems easy to make to some people which is why there being duplicated like crazy even though some of them forgot to put alot of thought into what the items are and what the items can do.

You do not understand what the word "copy" means, If this map was a copy that means there would be an identical map just like SkyBlock, looking exactly the same. I have never seen a 3x3 cube or a L shaped island in the middle of an ocean before, also survival islands in the ocean and survival islands in the void is COMPLETELY different.

>.< Sorry about that I forgot to take off that rule for 2.0/2.1 since I added the nether, Thanks for reminding me lol :smile.gif:
I'm not sure if I understand what your saying correctly, but the folder for the nether is called "DIM-1" in the save.

This is the first skyblock, skyblock is just a name not a definition of a certain genre of maps. But i'm sure you mean that this isn't the first map with an island and void, which is true for example the skylands and attempts at making the sky dimension were posted months ago, but then I guess you would say those are copies of other maps and those maps are copies of other maps, it will be an ongoing process that no one will ever figure out which map is truly not a copy. But you also do not understand what the word "copy" means, If this map was a copy that means there would be an identical map just like this one, looking exactly the same. So no, skyblock is not a copy of anything, and anyone that makes a map in the void is not a copy of skyblock as long as it's been altered and if it does not look exactly the same then it's not a copy.
