[03:57:00] <+NightKev> pig: is there a known buggy interaction between sync and any mods that would cause you to die twice (possibly more if you have more than one clone) and have all your items deleted from your clone?
[03:57:31] <+NightKev> because this just happened to me and it was a pain to cheat all my items back in since tcon and thaumcraft are very nbt-heavy
[03:57:55] <+NightKev> also i became undying after that
[03:58:06] <+NightKev> even /kill didn't work
PS: I died by running into a cactus, and re-logging didn't make me un-immortal.
I think the blacklist doesn't show up if you don't have the proper User Agent string, so you can't just go to it in a browser to see the list. Alternatively, they just haven't added any names to the list yet.
I'd say 50/50 chance it was a troll post.
If not... OP, are you an orphan? If not, maybe you should talk to your parents rather than random strangers on a message board???????
Edit: durr, not homeless, that's different than an orphan, oops
Even after this autoDetectCuttableBlocks: "true" changes to "false" automatically!
It's supposed to... the detected blocks will be in the config (there's a reason the scrollwheel was invented... so you could scroll down and see "oh look there they are").
Spring Water is (supposed to) give you regen (and in the past it also refilled your hunger bar), but it's currently bugged and doesn't work. I've submitted a PR to fix that particular issue, so hopefully in the future it'll work again.
Scythes are for removing tall grass and leaves iirc.
The irony is that I just had to replace my hard drive over the weekend, so I'm running with even a complete fresh install of windows 7. So all my minecraft files and everything in %APPDATA% are fresh as well. =\
Anyway I went into BOP to change the block ID's but it says they need to be under 255 in the ID Config in BOP, so I tried to change it to be under 2455
So the config file tells you "if it's more than 255 it won't work", and your immediate thought is "oh boy better set it to be in the 2400s that's totally less than 255"?
All I said is that WE were getting bug reports about it in here, and on IRC, when you should've been handling them. You want to maintain a separate version of something? Guess what, you get to deal with everything else regarding it too.
I got a few bug reports that from my point of view weren't related to my work, you refused to update the link on your website with the bugfix version I released (so there was no point in me bugfixing any further), AND you "forgot" to mention anywhere that people should send bugreports to me.
Regardless, backporting is honestly a stupid concept. We aren't going to put in more work just because a few other modders are lazy. 1.6 has been out for a month now, so there's no excuse for ANY mods to not be updated already.
Insulting other modders isn't warranted. There are plenty of legitimate reasons a mod may not be updated for 1.6 yet (such as, you know, real life issues; Minecraft modding is a hobby, not a job). Some mods may take a lot of work to update to 1.6; just because BoP happens to be easy to update doesn't mean every mod is as simple.
