This is brought up every time anyone brings up a good point that isn't worshiping notch, and it has lost its meaning.

It's really retarded, he strongly hints at something and the community thinks "Oh cool." Then the update comes around and because Notch never made himself clear/blunt, people get angry. Then the "Notch never said" wave comes around...apparently people have no right to dislike anything Notch does, and if they do they are a blind idiot and should permanently seal their mouths shut with gorilla glue.

Well Notch also never said that the super rare thing was just a hat for one person....he just mislead everyone to think it was a real update. You don't think that someone has a reason to be angry over that? Well ****, I guess I better go paint myself green and asplode by someone's house.
