Somehow gotten tired with crowded server.
I got no place to dig/design my creation!!!
Empty server? Good...
Agreed. I also can't stand the servers that limit where you can and can't build, make huge spawn areas with tutorials and crap, install every type of mod out there, etc. I just want a simple server with a few cool people to talk to while i screw around and make whatever I want, wherever I want, and just not destroy other peoples' stuff.
This has happened to me in the past, and I am still not quite sure what causes it, but it started happening to me again and it really bugs me. I could be walking anywhere (flat map, stairs, etc), and all of a sudden I will stop walking. I start walking again when I press the forward key, but it's annoying to have to keep pressing the forward key over and over again.
Okay so I installed the mod using the installer. I don't see any difference in shading on blocks. Instead, everything is warped to where it looks like I'm drunk. I tried editing some of the video settings in my options menu, but then Minecraft crashed.
Well that was just a creeper that managed to find an opportunity.
Today I was working on a tower, and I saw a cooked porkchop lying on the ground. I went to pick it up, and when I did a creeper ran up from behind the corner! I nearly jumped out of my chair before it blew me to bits.
This happened to be one of those times where I feel like the mobs are getting true intelligence.
So I was spending one of my nights right outside my base, building a small watch tower out of sandstone, when I see something on the ground.
(This happened at night, these pictures are a recreation, note the dirt patch)
From this distance I really couldn't tell exactly what it was, so I decide it might not hurt to get a little bit closer...
So yeah, a random cooked porkchop in the middle of the field. I kid you not. (I did have some netherrack near my base, but I didn't hear any pig squeals) So at first I think it might be fine to go and get it really quick, then I hear a voice in my head.
"Silly Ackbar, everybody knows mobs don't think that way."
Sure enough...

The creeper won.
Also, since chances are somebody will point it out, I'm using Painterly.

You can only make a 3D rendering of it though :wink.gif:

I actually haven't been on a multiplayer server in quite a while, so I'm getting bored of playing solo.

Agreed, this looks like one amazing mod that would really help cut my lag in certain situations.

Creepers are not to be taken lightly.

Well okay, I would say that nearly half of the poll came up under 17

-Make a bedrock room in the sky
-Use Bukkit to change the griefer's home spawn to the bedrock room.
-Kill the griefer
-???
-PROFIT!

Mountain lions would make a really good daytime aggressive mob! Though I wouldn't want it to spawn very often, seeing how it would be the daytime...

Or at least look both ways :wink.gif:

Just watch, 13-14 or 15-16 will win this poll.
