Someone unknowingly posted a link somewhere in their posts that links to offsite content that might be infected and google identified the link in the forum. It then sends out a caution alert to the DB that control virus/malware detection and reports. Its nothing serious. Just avoid clicking any random links you see in the forums.

Could be. Malware could've overloaded the server somehow, and made it shut down. Dunno.
Anyways, although I had a slight heart attack when I saw that warning, I still question why Malware exists. How would the Malware distributors feel if their computer got infected.
We shall hack the hackers, someday.
I've done that in the past. lets just say heh heh the end game is quite satisfying when you prove to be better at computers then these people think they are.

They are working on a tech mod with semi-realistic electrical properties.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

In a nutshell the boots simply reverse gravity when worn after shift-jumping. I wanted to use this feature for a upcoming modpack i am currently authoring. However with Ars Magica's development stopped. That means i can no longer use the mod. Not for the sake of because it's dead. But because that means if a bug was to arise. I would have no means of ensuring it gets fixed. Also having a dead mod would stall the mod packs progression. So instead of waiting for 1 mod to forever not be updated. I've decided to come to the community and see if someone could help me.
For an idea of exactly what the boots do. Here is a video link from a preview Mithion did showing what the boots do.
Skip to 6:25 to see the boots in action.
Please note this is a request for the function. I intend to call them gravity boots instead of Ender boots. If someone is concerned about working on the mod and stepping on Mithions toes for the idea. I'll happily try and get in contact with him and request permission to recreate it. Honestly at this point i don't think he will even mind. I desperately need this feature. My modpack is more about the pre-defined locations you explore in my maps. One such place will require this feature exclusively.

For starters you're in the wrong part of the forums. That crash log is not related to Ars Magica2. It looks like something is fiddle ducking with rendering and caused a null pointer exception too occur.

Thing is what mithion is taking with him is the concept. Not the code itself. Mojangs rights only apply if his mods code is used. However Mithion can easily recreate his spell system and other mechanics in another game. It's how SirSengir is currently working on his own game as well. Sengir used MC-Modding too prototype his games concepts. The same applies here which Mojang/Microsoft has no say in the matter. You can't copyright an idea only it's product.

I feel like open sourcing your mod would invalidate the hard work you've put into it. A lot of projects thrived off open source and well thats all well and good. But in Ars Magica's stance i think it would do more harm then good. Especially if you're going to make a game with the same mechanics. At this point it would be better to hand the reigns to someone who can "maintain" the mod. But ask them not to add any new features unless you want them to.

Because you're still using Java.6. When you install multiple instances of java. You need to tell your launcher which java to use. Otherwise it will default to the one it 1st started using.

Wooo! Thank you! It's a strange request i can understand that. I needed it for setting up an elaborate dungeon completion system. Ring the gongs to uncover the prize and leave.

That would be more then enough really. I'm not surprised that the hell biome has it hardcoded like that. But yeah that's just awesome. Also i apologize if i do come off as a bit "OMG CAN I HAS". This is literally the first mod i've ever seen that can do some fun things for me. You're doing good work and i appreciate it all.

Mother of god...if you manage this. I'll be in a state of happy.
