People, seriously, try to remember that this is not the Bethesda developers (you know, the ones who actually make the games) throwing these arbitrary legal words around. This is their marketing/legal department, a bunch of guys who are for all intents and purposes, not really involved with the creation of the "Elder Scrolls" franchise itself, instead concerning themselves with the legal standing of said franchise. These are boring lawyers in grey suits paid to do the necessary evil of copyright infringement accusations.
Sure, the game devs could go to their lawyers and be like, yeah, we don't like Mojang using that name, make a case out of it, but more likely the game devs themselves had no idea about this, or just didn't care, until the whole thing was already in motion.
So don't get the guilty parties confused. The guys "making" Skyrim are (likely) not involved in this stupid legal contest.

I'm getting tiny image noise/tearing issues around the edges of grass blocks when using this mod btw. It's only noticeable in the dark, and my well just be video issues of various sorts on my end, but I thought I'd let you know anyway.
(this post is mostly just a bump if you haven't noticed.)

Love it. :tongue.gif:

But yes, you're right. Which is why I'm hoping Mojang does implement an API. And not a weak one.

Not so long ago, on the other hand, I read a mention of a modding API that a few modders were working on right now. From what the poster said (it was an old post BTW), it sounded pretty powerful. Does anyone know the status/name of it?
Either way, a standard API would be a boon to the modding community here, right now APIs are basically being developed for individual mods... and it's chaos. :sad.gif:

Also, I would urge you to take PringleMan's post under heavy consideration. As a long time modder, (not on minecraft yet) I've seen firsthand the importance of a standard API/mod implementation tool/whateverthegameneedstobemodable. The API issue in Minecraft's modding community is kinda frustrating, but if you choose to adopt what is looking up to be a solid API, you could do a lot to standardize, and thus simplify unnecessary incompatibility issues.
Anyway, enough of that ungrateful sounding crap. This is an awesome mod and has greatly improved my game. Thanks!

So, I know it's been said before, and maybe you've gotten tired of hearing it, but you and Balkonduer really should work on a merge of your movement mods. Both mods have the same basic objective, but for the most part, don't use the same actions. Variety ahoy. It's those few actions (sprinting :sad.gif: ) that you both did make that prevent the two from being compatible. You know at some point somebody will develop their own, unique, mod that incorporates everything from your two mods, and more probably. It goes without saying that that mod will just be more popular. And that would be a shame seeing as you two did it first.

Second, I recently got a new computer that really does not like adfly or mediafire. I understand why most of our modders link their downloads through them, but is there any chance at all of a direct download?
