Basiclally, open a new notepad file.
Paste this in:
@echo off
java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar
pause
and save as "run.bat" in the same folder you have your minecrafte server in.
If you have very limited RAM, like I do, put "nogui" (No GUI, aka Game User Interface) at the end of the second line and it should help.
Btw, for those who cant click on anything, or blocks disappear. That might be because you're playing on gamemode 0 instead of 1 (off instead of on :wink.gif: )
Make sure to change the properties file
"gamemode=1" to keep this from happening.
That means whatever server you are trying to join isn't 1.0.0.
Okay, I've seen this said about a million times already.
I've updated to 1.0.0. How the HECK do you update, or where do you get the update for the server?
Simple as that. If there is not an update for the server, where can I find a re-download of 1.8.1 of Minecraft? I did not save prior to the update, as I didnt know all this BS would happen.
Okay, so I dont see the "Unblock" button on my properties dialog.
I'm running XP Pro. So my compatibility list consists of Win 95, Win 98/ME, Win 2000 & Win NT.
