Apr 3, 2014Moman posted a message on An April ApologyI may never download MC again, or I may just store and keep this one. I have not had such a good laugh in a long time, and I haven't gone through every block and item. The sound pack is hilarious! And Sacheverell, because YOU created a new thread, you have to ban yourself. ROFL!! Villager skin and nutso sounds = one big April 1st win.Posted in: News

Mar 31, 2014Moman posted a message on Minecraft Gets New Developer, Sells to EAIMO, the post is really funny. Not LOL funny, but big grin funny. It's just silly that anyone would believe that a lower animal could program anything, so falling for any of it, just doesn't make sense. Further, the ocelot is cute, true, and it is sticking it's tongue out in the picture. There's a little visual hint for you! And all of this follows on the heals of Occulus(sp) selling out to FB, and the furor over that . . . ?Posted in: News

Also, have pumpkins been made easier to find? I've been wandering around looking for the new biomes, and I've come across about 7-8 patches of pumpkins so far, and I haven't even gone very far yet.
Yes, they are. In addition, melons are now in the jungle biomes.

The amount of work that it took to clean up the entire executable so that items could be directly named, rather than requiring item ids, was huge. This alone adds a tremendous amount of power for modders to use. Mojang already said that they went through all 255k lines of code and they are not completely done with it. The amount of work taken to redo the terrain generation feature was huge, also. A lot of re-balancing was done so that biomes generate near biomes with compatible temperature and humidity, beside adding a large number of biomes and technical biomes. Whoever is complaining about the update, as was said previously => if you can do better, please do so. Mojang is doing a fantastic job with Minecraft. -

Apr 4, 2013Moman posted a message on Minecraft Surpasses 10 Million Sales, 1.6 Feature Spoiler Alert"As Minecraft is a copy of the 10^23rd Universe, and as horses exist in the 10^23rd Universe, however, not in the same sense as they exist in the 3.14159265 Universe that you humans live in, it is a natural consequence of quantum entanglement that horses must of need be added to Minecraft."Posted in: News

OK. I got this message on the transdimensional transductive transducer that is attached to my left tympanic membrane on Tuesday. If anyone knows what it really means, let us all know.

Dudes, it's just a joke! If you look at the complete changelog, you'll see him being "removed" every other version! He was removed in 1.3, and 1.1, and probably in a lot of betas too! But it's just a joke!
How dare you?! Herobrine is not a joke! He is very serious, as is all discussion of him. Everyone that is commenting on Herobrine is NOT joking. Herobrine is dangerous! Herobrine will come for you in your sleep, and take away all of your diamonds! Just you wait! You'll see!! Herobrine won't miss you!! - To post a comment, please login.

seed = snapshot
Fly around. I've just been flying south, in creative, and I've hit almost every one of the new biomes. I'm more than 15k meters south. You won't hit everything very quickly, that is part of the point of the new biome generation.

Hmmmm . . . d_i_r_e_c_t_i_o_n_a_l . Sorry about that. I guess it was a bit misleading.
I shall refrain from further comment on this, other than to say that if you were any warmer, you would be singed.

In the interest of preserving my hide, I shall not name names, however, there is one person that I know of that apparently has a habit of tweeting Mojang rather constantly, and even got a mention for it in another thread. Somewhere around 8 or 9 tweets in a week asking about when the next snapshot was coming.
I, too, would like to have seen a snapshot earlier than this, however, as biome rearrangement must drastically affect the game, holding off on releasing a biome-based snapshot does not bother me. Now, as to fishing, being a somewhat avid fisher IRL - GIMME THE FISHIES!! GIMME! GIMME! GIMME! GIMME!

Nope. Puffers are generally poisonous, depending upon their diet, however, they are not venomous. The difference? Some internal organs, the muscles and the skin usually carry tetrodotoxin, which several kinds of fish are immune to, however, it is highly toxic to humans. Their spikes have no venom, nor venom delivery system - they can't use the tetrodotoxin as a snake uses its venom. As an aside, fugu is the name for puffer flesh in Japan, and in order to be licensed to prepare and cook it, a chef has to learn from a master, and be licensed. Every now and then, someone makes a bad fugu preparation . . . ..

Reading is good for you, however, it helps if you also try using some basic comprehension skills.

Yes.

You are drastically mistaken. As the tag says "13w7a", he, or she, is most definately talking about a snapshot. Horses spawn naturally in it, and there is an egg for horses in the creative inventory. There are some issues with the horses at this time, and those issues are being discussed here, and on Mojira.
Before you jump to conclussions, be certain that the well into which you jump has sufficient water at the bottom to cushion the shock of your fall.
