I just completed that map! It was a lot of fun, and I almost died quite a few time. XD
I converted all of the island into grass with the dirt from mining and made sure that was well lit. It was very interesting having to research how to make the different traps and the cactus farm. I've also discovered that if you explore caves by going very fast and lighting your way at the same time, monsters usually don't have the time to spawn a lot (though granted, that might not work so well if you play on Hard). Except from when I found the dungeons, I saw maybe 10 hostile mobs? ^^ Still, zombies allmost killed me when I took the torches off the spawner once I completed the trap. Because I'm a careless idiot, it seems. ^^
umm.. i am kinda not informed about tall grass. But I do know that since of 1.6 update U can't get seeds from tilting normal grass. But will tall grass just grow on normal grass? so then i can get seeds and make bread and stuff...
If you use a bone meal on nrmal grass, tall grass will grow. :wink.gif:
