Oh, good idea. I think instead of crafting mushroom stew, you should put water in a cauldron, put the mushrooms in, and it will make 3 bowls of mushroom. And yeah, I suppose you can broil foods in water. A new way to cook :biggrin.gif:

Christ man, can't you understand that you don't have to do the updates? If you want to be like an alpha player, recolor your textures lime green and don't get into potion making or breeding.. You have notice that Notch and Jeb updated this game for the people who want updates and fun, for us. If you don't want to go to the End, fine, if you don't want to have NPC Villages, disable building. You people need to seriously shut up and quit complaining.

And PS, there's already an official tool that lets you downgrade Minecraft.

Open your Minecraft Launcher and click on Options. It will open a dialogue box. On it, there will be a "Force Update" button. Check it or click it, and log into Minecraft. It should give you fresh copy of Minecraft that will run, without removing your saves or texture packs. After that, install Modloader first and then the tornado mod.

Yeah, really nice Homestuck theme. Might want to add mobs, maybe orange salamanders like found on the land Wind and Shade.

You could also try to just stand still for ~30 seconds and see if it gets better. If it does it might be that Minecraft drops FPS while loading / generating the world.

Also try to install the latest drivers for your graphic card.
If you are on Java 5 or bellow, update to either 6 or 7. (Also make sure you install the 64bit version if your CPU can handle it.)
