it is nice because i would say that rp has become my favorite mod and i am playing FTB insanity with it while i wait for it
but elo, take your time. i respect you for wanting to have it bug free and i think that is for the greater good
if you go to chickenbones mods thread, he has updated the redpower NEI plugin and is saying his wireless redstone is coming soon (which he would update when rp2 came out) so i am assuming that RP2 will be out in the upcoming days
That's what he said on the last page or so. We are currently waiting. Except I have no idea when 8pm EST is for my timezone. It's probably tomorrow morning, when I won't be able to have internet T_T
EST is GMT -4 for anyone that doesnt know so mostly it is 12am GMT
I Just downloaded the new forge and i noticed there is a Meta-Inf folder inside forge. Is this new and what should i do because I know that you delete the meta-inf in the jar file but i don't know about this one.
does anyone know of this??
Edit : I have just tested moving all of mc forge into the jar after deleting mc's meta-inf and it works.
Hi, my friend on a server was having a hard time installing optifine so i am making this for him.
step 1: get a clean Jar file - I do not know if force update gets you a new jar but what i do is take all of the important items in the .minecraft folder (Saves, texture packs, servers, pics, etc.) and back them up in a seperate folder. next I delete everything else in the .minecraft folder (But DONT delete the minecraft folder itself). Finally, open up minecraft and you will have a brand new minecraft.
step 2 : download optifine/a zip archive program (i use 7zip)
step 3: open up the minecraft.jar file in the /bin folder and delete the meta-inf folder.
step 4: copy all contents inside the optifine zip file to the jar file and open up minecraft again.
if you have correctly installed optifine go into the video options and you will see more options in it. also remember to put the stuff u backed up back into the .minecraft folder.

not yet but when ee3 is released, it will be open sourced so you can make plugins for it then

i dont know if it is compatiable with modloader yet but if it is install modloader into the jar and put the zip in the /mods folder
otherwise, just put all contents of the zip into the jar and delete the meta-inf folder either way

well, its going to be easier updating from 1.3.1 to 1.3.2 since its just a few bug fixes so we shall see.
