That's probably because of your search history, bud. I haven't seen that, and I've downloaded optifine countless times.

posted a message on Looking for 13-14 y/o to do survival with [Bedrock]

Hey, I'm Matt (Real name Drew, IGN IronMeteor87). I'm a 13 year old Canadian and I'm looking for a nice 13-14 y/o to play survival with on MCPE/WIN10/XBONE. For those of you who are a bit confused as to why I call myself Matt, it has to do with when I chose my first Java edition account name when I was 8-9. I called myself Matt - I don't remember why. I also prefer to be called Drew. PM for my Skype, since I don't want pedos or hackers seeing my email.

One more thing - First approval is the only one getting in.

You can always change it back with a simple resource pack; here are the names pulled from the en_us lang file in the 1.6.4 jar (with the addition of a default name to fix MC-19996):

While you are at it you can also do this (using the updated name for roses, which used to be tile.rose; the internal name for stained clay has not been changed yet):

(you'd be surprised at how many people went up in arms over such a simple change; changing textures is also just as easy)

Yeah, but that won't stop what Rodj71 said. That in my opinion is more annoying, it's like speaking english to a foreigner who knows just enough to hold a convo. Sure you can talk but if the convo goes on for too long it'll end up having a misunderstanding.

Hi. It's been a while since my custom skies are very blurry with many shaders including this. If kindly you could provide me with a solution I'll gladly thank you; this is the best shader that encounters this issue, so I felt like writing this here :) The blur effect could be caused by distance blur, 80%. Solutions? This is the blurry custom sky, does it have anything to do with distance blur?

    I don't really notice anything?

posted a message on Few questions about the 'Better Together Update' aka MCPE 1.2

    I have a few questions.

    1. Will there be open lobbies? Like you can join an online game. Sort of like Java edition servers but not because of my next question.

    2. Will there be voice chat? Like as if you had a built in Skype or Discord and everyone is chatting through mikes and speakers. It would probably be accomplished by using Xbox live. This would make it a lot easier to communicate while playing. Of course not all people will have a mike but they would still hear those that do.

    3. What kind of minigames would we have? Like Hunger Games, Sky Wars, and also more casual minigames that don't involve killing people. I'd personally like to see a minigame that mimics Call of duty Zombies. Like AEM Zombies but... not being turned into a towny server.

    4. How would you go about balancing out the difficulties between the people on Pocket, WIN10 and Console? For example most people on pocket will be using touch, which is much more difficult than Key/Mouse or Controller.

    5. Will there be servers where cursing will be allowed? I always end up swearing at some point and so if I drop a bomb, will there be servers to allow that?

    1. The village variations look quite Ugly and out of place

    2. Mixed forest should really only have oak and spruce, as putting jungle and spruce together seems really odd. Sorta like a boreal forest, which you can see a lot of in Nova Scotia.

I don't have enough time to read it all (I just wanna download it already!) but no hate, this sounds really cool but you seem to have made a few weird moves in the world generation. :D You are now my favourite modder.

Hey, I got a problem with the shaders, every time it rains the puddles are purple, and bellow the trees green, in most places it glows to. If you could help me I would appreciate it.

    My specs:

    Intel Pentium G4600

    MSI Geforce GTX 1050

    8GB Crucial Ram

LOL. I can't help you but the fact that it said you were using a pentium made me think "Why the hell is he using a potato CPU with a GTX 1050?" It took me a minute to realize it was a new pentium and not a potato for my grandmother's computer.

posted a message on Jittery Minecraft Movement in SEUS after 2^18 blocks reached

I was on a minecraft server a few days ago. I turned on SEUS shaders, and my character started moving in an extremely grid-like jittery pattern. I think it has something to do with the fact that I was teleported using the /randomtp command to an area past 2^18, because I loaded a world and teleported myself to exactly x=262144, which is what 2^18 is, and as soon as I pass x=262144 coming towards positive x it starts jittering. Further proof is that when I teleported my self to 2^19 (524288), it seems as though when I pass 2^19 it gets even more jittery. How can I fix this?

posted a message on Floating Mineshaft Challenge - Don't Fall! [1.4.2-1.9.4]
    Quote from TheMasterCaver»

This does work in any version since 1.4, the version they added Superflat customization.

Even better, you can actually change how common mineshafts are; if you play this in 1.7 or later mineshafts will be 40% as common but you can get the old frequency back by adding (chance=0.01) after "mineshaft"; they will even generate in the same locations and with the same structure, only different chest loot. This may not work if the biome is set to Mesa though; mesa mineshafts also appear to not generate if they are in the air.

Or even (chance=1.0) - which will generate a mineshaft in every single chunk (they will be less common within 1280 blocks of 0,0), although I would not recommend such a high chance:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/152fii/so_i_found_out_you_can_change_the_chance_of/

http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Superflat#Preset_code_format (note - the Wiki still gives the default chance in 1.6.4 and earlier versions; I doubt they even realize that mineshafts were made less common in 1.7 since there is no mention of it anywhere on their pages for 1.7 or mineshafts. The stronghold information is also outdated since they increased the number to 128 in 1.9; a look at some 1.10 source I found shows that Superflat uses the same values as default).

ETA: For a bigger challenge you can also omit all blocks from the preset so the mineshafts are floating above the void (you may have to find a seed that spawns you on a mineshaft and even then it may take multiple respawn attempts - be sure to get a bed!)

Huh, it's funny - I thought they had fixed it. Alright, then I'll update the post.

EDIT: The main problem is that the mineshafts don't generate above ground now. So they must have fixed it. I've tested, and found that it works in any version before 1.10 and after 1.4.2 (1.4.2-1.9.4) so that's what I'm going with here.

EDIT (again): The chance vaiable doesn't work in 1.7.10, so I'm updating it again for hopefully the final time.

posted a message on Floating Mineshaft Challenge - Don't Fall! [1.4.2-1.9.4]

If you've played any of the versions before 1.10 (1.4.2-1.9.4) during when they were the bees knees, like me, chances are you've came across this funny nat. This challenge exploits a quirk in the mineshaft spawn code in 1.4-1.9.4 versions of Minecraft that allows Mineshafts to spawn above ground and floating. Sounds impossible, right? Nope... This 100% works in 1.4-1.9.4 versions of minecraft.

The way that mineshafts generate in this, however, are what make it extremely hard. Build up, gather resources, fight mobs, fall and die. That's basically how it all happens. The way you do it is break the planks, craft stuff, open chests, and before nightfall you break all the spawners in your area. After that, it's just slashing at the mobs, hitting them off in majestic glory. Yeah, it's fun.

    Setting it up:

To set this up in older versions of minecraft,, log on to any version between 1.4.2 and 1.6.4 and create a new superflat world with these settings:

    2;7,3x1,8x12;2;biome_1,decoration,mineshaft

I wouldn't recommend it, but you can try the previous code in 1.7 versions of minecraft. Since Mineshafts are much rarer in 1.7 and the chance variable doesn't seem to work, it is much harder because it's harder to find a mineshaft in the first place.

Or if you want to do it in a newer version of Minecraft you cannot do it in any version later than 1.10. If you do this in 1.8 to 1.9.4, you have to load it up in these settings:

    3;minecraft:bedrock,3*minecraft:stone,8*minecraft:sand;2;biome_1,decoration,mineshaft(chance=0.03)

and create it. That's it, you're in. Feel free to post your session time and amount of deaths in a reply. Mine was 1 death after 15 minutes.
