...I wonder what happens if you try to rip up a piece of land with a giant tree from Forester on it...?

Thanks very much! Your inquiry brings up a good point, and I've updated the script accordingly. Version 2 is up now, the only change is that it also updates the heightmap to correctly reflect the higher land.

For trees, I would actually suggest running WizardMountain first, then running Forester (with "hanging" roots) for a good effect. Like this! Enjoy!

Ah, nice! :smile.gif: I'm glad I could help, in whatever small way I did. Re-downloading the new version then.

    This is.. Absolutely amazing. :Pig:

My only suggestion would be to add the option for light sources along the walls and in the buildings. Might make them look nicer/easier to spot, and less filled with horrible death. :SSSS:

...But seriously, this looks great. :iapprove: Keep it up!

...And I was JUST lamenting how Forester didn't support birch trees.

Dudecon, have I mentioned that you are AWESOME?

Heheh, I kinda want to learn Python now, to make scripts and stuff like yours, and then Java, so I can make mods to go with them!

<<; Mostly I want to learn to make mobs. I think having squirrels scrabbling up these trees would be a fun bit of ambiance.

Haven't had time to play much, but I'll get you pics of some great scenery made from combining your scripts on a map. I was last fiddling around with settings to get something nice, so when I get the time I should have some nice floating/meteor-struck lands with awesome birch trees to show off. :smile.gif:

HAAH. Great stuff, friend! This has a very "high fantasy" feel to it. I really like how the floating pieces aren't just boring and flat at the bottom, but look like they've actually been ripped out of the earth. Another absolutely amazing script.

...I wonder what happens if you try to rip up a piece of land with a giant tree from Forester on it...?
    Hmmm.. :Pig: This requires research...

    Featured on Yogscast? DAMN YOU!

Hah, joke's on you friend, Seibai's awesome generators have been featured on the 'cast before this- They played on Planetoids a while ago. :iapprove:

I'm still having loads of fun on my current map. I agree a bit with ChocolateySyrup's gripes that the treasures found in tombs are often too little, too late, but eh. Just getting to them is fun in and of itself. Crazy, crazy traps.. I STILL don't know how some of them work! Sometimes I'm walking along, scanning the floor for pressure plates, ceilings for traps, and then I hear the hissing of a fuse! :SSSS: I swear, it's only because these caverns have gotten me so twitchy that I've been able to get out of dodge in time....

But still, What?! No pressure plates, no spawners, nothing in sight?! This map will be the death of me.. ..A lot..

Edit: Oh, I used all 25s for my dune parameters, except, I think, for the one that it asks for that is usually half the average, or whatever? I think I punched in a 15 there...

BAAHAHA! Kodaichi, I have been a silent stalker of all your mods for a while, but now I have to say, you've hit a whole new level of funawesome with this mod! Oh, wow.. There I am, gearing up to ride my noble companion into glorious battle against the undead! ...And then.. Well, you know.

I have to say, I should've expected this, coming from you. Heheheh. I love how all your mods are about having fun first and foremost. That's what Minecraft is all about. :smile.gif: Shame that some people lose sight of that.

Keep up the great work! :iapprove:

I know the answer to one question, the stained glass is a damaged version of regular glass, so you can uninstall it with no issues, I haven't tested out the other mods though.

:smile.gif: Thank you very much. That settles THAT issue, at least. I'll be waiting patiently for updates.

posted a message on [v.1.5_01]Syrup's Mods: Furniture, Stained Glass, Tweaks!
I do very much like the look of Fancypack and Stained Glass, and I really want to use them (Yes, I know only Fancypack has been updated), but I have a few questions, as I'm a bit paranoid with mods that add new blocks or items...

    1) Will my saves be damaged at all if I were to place furniture and stained glass in my base, and then uninstall the mod, or will it just leave empty space where all the stuff once was?

    2) Related to the last question, what if I gave a save with these items in it to someone without the mod? No good?

    3) How do I retexture these? I'd like to add support for these mods to my upcoming texture pack, as some pieces of furniture (as well as the glass) look like they would clash pretty badly with the textures I have currently. I know some work by using your terrain.png, but I've noticed some others that look unique. If it's not possible or a huge hassle though, don't worry about this.

    4) Is the stained glass a new block, or a simple variation based on 'damage', like colored wools are? Answered! Thank you Chaz!

Thank you for your time. And I apologize if my questions have already been answered. I'll leaf through this thread and edit/delete this post if I find answers.

Again, thanks. I know you put a lot of hard work into these, and it really shows. :smile.gif: Quality mods if I've ever seen any.

Edit: Oy, wall of text.. Sorry about that. I guess I can be a bit verbo- dah, I'm doing it again!

I have to say, WOW! I recently just found pyramids and went exploring. You are an absolutely EVIL genius, Seibai. Those traps are WICKED.

Is there any significance to the rooms with the glass things in them? I.. Don't trust them..

But then again, this map has made me very, very paranoid...

I really like this idea! Are we allowed to submit textures from unreleased, WIP packs? Because I've got some half-blocks that I personally enjoy very much, and I think others might too. Though they're perhaps a bit too ornate...

Either way, if it's a no-go, that's fine, I'll try to make something new. :Notch: This has the potential to become something great.
