    I honestly can't think of a feature I would say I dislike. Most things can either be tolerated or just ignored, though the vast majority of new features I'm absolutely fine with.

    The biggest issue for me? The performance. With a game that's been in development or over 7 years you'd hope they'd have finally optimized it a bit. Guess that shows just how incredibly messy Minecraft Java's code really is that it still performs as terrible as it does.

    Have you ever seen the kind of mining you can do with a Haste II beacon and an Efficiency V pickaxe? Not to mention the ease in terraforming huge areas of land. And that's just one of the effects you can give yourself, with other equally useful effects like Speed or Regeneration just a click away.

    How is that worse than beign able to poison your opponents? Something every perons with a brewing station and a spider eye can do?

    Mastermined, dying crops is much worse than new combat. There is no getting used to watering crops, you are already doing it, so it's pretty valid to hate it. But mastering new combat is much more different. You actually have to master it, and complaining about it when you haven't mastered it is just wrong.


    Having top water crops, is something that you don't get used to, it's something that you're already doing, and it would be really annoying. While having a small delay when swinging you're sword is something you have to get used to. They're totally different things.


    your kinda missing my point though.

    You don't have to 'master' a broken system to complain about it it. If something doesn't work, or just flat out isn't fun for you, why should you waste more time on it to 'master' it? Nobody's gonna do that. Doesn't mean you can't complain though since the very fact it is not fun is worth criticizing.

    Stop trying to silence people you disagree with.

    One per world is a terrible idea, that makes it so only a sngle person can actually use the enchantment, making that person objectively stronger than other people. And when the tool you have Witherec breaks, you lost the enchantment forever.

    So if some really unfair new mechanic were to be released, super realistic crop tending where you have to water your plants every 35 seconds or they wither and die to give and example, I am not allowed to complain about that until I got said tedious and unfair new mechanic completely under control? What if I don't want to because I hate doing it???

    I'm not saying 1.9 is tedious or bad, quite a big fan of it. Just saying your logic is completely flawed and you should probably edit your post to avoid creating a huge flame war with your biased opinions.

    It's also a system just made to be exploited. Invite players to your server, let them set up, ban them, and make them pay to get their life on that server back.

    I wouldn't play on a server that you have to pay to play on.

    I can get behind a mob dropping quartz, but it should be a new Nether or Overworld mob, and definitely not the Witch. All the Witch's drops are brewing or magic related, and quartz doesn't have any special properties when you brew it into potions.

    I like the texture a lot, honestly!

    But as for this suggestion specifically, it just doesn't meet my specific purpose. I feel like it would take away the point of my suggestion compared to my own screenshot, if you know what I mean with that.

    Or you could just place a redstone torch next to the mechanism.
    Or feed a repeater through the lock block to activate the redstone behind it.

    Minecraft redstone can't exactly be called secure. And locking one input seems silly when you can create a second input wherever you want, or just break the lock manually.

    I'd actually say "make it removable" by forcing the player to burn themselves, if they're on fire, the twitcher will be scarred by the bright light (something they haven't seen in likely months) and decouple allowing the player to hit them.
