Could you add back in the old powersuits texture as an option? The new model you made is amazing, but doesn't fit in very well with minecraft.

Soon, this question comes up like twice a day, but it's not as simple as just 'adding it back in'.

He knows where he is talking about, these are responses to normal polite asked questions:

    press L you twit
I told you how to fix it, leave me alone x.x
No I will not, jesus god. When will you people stop pooping up my thread with retarded ideas?
Then why the bloody hell did you still frickin' post?
No, this is a terrible post and you should be ashamed.
No, this is a stupid idea.
No. Did you not get it the first time?

these are just a few, im not angry but you do have to realize that you are being rude, you could have just tell them polite:'' thanks for trying to help out but this wont fit in'' or better, ignore them. i dont care what response i get.

    Yours sincerely

No, I know, and I'm not contesting that. I'm only suggesting that Wolfcraftian is seeing a very narrow window of what actually happened, which incidentally did contain some unfounded accusations. (unless he's a sockpuppet, which I don't think, but some people reading this do)

    Quote from Deor

Its a real shame, i love this mod, but reading the way you respond to people really does leave a bad taste. You are clearly a very talented developer who has made one of the best mods to hit minecraft in awhile, perhaps that's the problem.

This is the internet 'dear' (yes that's a joke, based on your own comments) its full of people with silly ideas, if you cant deal with that perhaps its not the place for you.

As my gran always said, "if you don't have anything nice to say to someone, best not say anything at all". Perhaps you could adopt this policy toward people posting their 'retarded ideas' or making posts they 'should be ashamed' of?

Or I could just not. I mean, most people don't care if I'm mean to them, they just want to play the mod. Because that's what they're here for in the first place. And that's what I'm willing to give. That and unbridled rage at their inability to read the damn rules.

It's kind of telling that the very moment I show some kind of caring or reasonable response to anyone on this issue, 4 (or maybe 5, not sure what snake2332 meant by that, or 3, in the event that Wolfcraftian is a sockpuppet...that would be hilariously ironic) people latch on and use the opportunity to leverage their own barely-cohesive, self-righteous, and poorly-written criticism of everything I've done wrong in their perception. THIS IS WHY, people. Why should I give a hornet's hiney what any of you think, if you won't even return the favour of considering my point of view, much less actually improving my experience of Minecraft yourselves? If you expect me to investigate issues that only occur with third party tools I have nothing to do with? If you won't even spell my goddamn name right?

Just curious. I mean, since you are all have such a clear picture of what's going on.

Wow, get over yourself, it was far from one word it was your whole attitude that puts him off using your mod, he'll live without it, it isn't a self destructive extreme. He was even nice enough to still tell you why your mod was causing a issue (he shouldn't have bothered), even though the simple act of reporting it drove you off the edge.

Besides if you were genuine you would not try to be justifiably condescending (there is no such thing).

If you wish to talk about your massive but fragile ego and clear issues you need to take out on everyone round you, don't PM me, you don't deserve the help, for what you've had you can't afford to pay it forward in courtesy.

I won't be using this again and I hope more decide this is an attitude they wish to foster, promote to expose their followers too and seek alternatives, even just using the Jetpack from the mod require to charge this one...

So...pretty much that entire thing went over your head? Like, you might have a point here if you had any idea what you were talking about.

Well anyway, since I was apparently banned from her github, I figured I'd post this here:
    https://github.com/MachineMuse/MachineMusePowersuits/issues/273

    --
I continued out of curiosity. I have a fix for myself, but in case you ever decide to work on it (since I'm sure as hell not opening a pull request and making your job easy), SlickFont.getStringWidth > MuseRenderer.getStringWidth > ClickableButton constructor > ClickableKeybinding constructor > KeybindManager.readInKeybinds probably shouldn't be called before the main screen GUI is launched.

    Take care.
    --

FYI if anyone runs into graphical glitches/that error mentioned in the bug report while running Powersuits, it would have been fixed but she's hostile towards potential contributors.

Just as an aside, perhaps no one should contribute to this project. Personally, I'm uninstalling it and never using Clair's mods again because of her unbelievably and unnecessarily rude behavior towards everyone. Maybe I could understand if she was just being rude to people demanding things from her, but I certainly wasn't.

Thanks for helping narrow it down, I'll implement this asap. I do appreciate the hard work you've put in to find it. It's too bad your ego is so fragile; you're clearly intelligent and skilled, but one little word ('dear') is all it took to drive you to such a self-destructive extreme, and that's not a quality I can afford to tolerate in contributors. I'm willing to talk about it, if you're willing to open up. PM.

Is there a way to key bind the transparent armor ability rather than be a binary on/off toggled by the tinker table?

    not yet, soon

For the latest dev build, is there no glow module? and apparently (according to MM's twitter) there was a jetpack model that was implemented but i'm not able to get it to work??? I got the MPSA installed as well. I'm so annoyed because the glow and jet model looks soooo cool!

For those who've been begging for armor stands: Bibliocraft has added support for Forge's custom armor models, so powersuits should now work in them! Awesome!

New update! I've been meaning to add modular powersuit support for a while now and thanks to a couple tips from MachineMuse I was able to finally get the modular powersuits working on armor stands. ;) Any other mods that use 3D models for their armor should also work now as well.

    V1.2.1 -
    * Added support for Modular Powersuits on the armor stands.
    * Added support for Tinkers Construct books on the bookcases.
    * Fixed a bug on the display case that could cause an item to get stuck in the block above it and warp through the celing when removing an item.
    * Added rendered text color code to config for the reading glasses. Players can now edit the config and change the color of the text to anything they choose.

    Awesome! Looks great :3
