Sounds good man, I figured that would be the case when you've changed the movement system so dramatically.

Hey, it seems that this mod breaks some armors and items that apply a passive speed boost (without potion effects) though it isn't universal. Items like the KAMI armor and the Bound armor from Blood Magic no longer apply their speed boosts, but the Boots of the Traveler from Thaumcraft still do. Also, it seems that enchantments are also affected by this (Haste from TC and Sonic the Hedgehog from Mariculture).

I'm thinking this is a problem that might not be able to be solved on your end, but I'm unsure.

    EDIT:
Tested on 1.7.2 SMP + SSP.

I absolutely love this. I've always been curious to see what it would feel like to actually have the movement mechanics from Source/Quake imported into Minecraft. Turns out it's as fun as I thought it'd be.

Only things I could really suggest is a config option to disable auto-bhop and the ability to bind mouse wheel down/up to jump or keys in general. Otherwise, I'll be seriously looking forward to the 1.7.10 version as this will definitely be going into my roster of mods.

Here is the github issue page I'm referencing: https://github.com/Azanor/thaumcraft/issues/942. Not sure if they fixed it since none of the KAMI recipes now require mana beans, so the final comment may be irrelevant? Not sure.

    EDIT:
Also, has the Add Aspect functionality of the Node Modifier been removed? Or, is there another reason why I can't add a new aspect to a node?

I managed to complete the infusion using generic ethereal essence. I refer to those sold by merchants, without a specific aspect, which keep changing color. Those should do the trick.

Yeah, that (once again) mirrors the issues related to mana beans. I'm going to go out on a whim and suggest that it's probably due to the metadata that identifies the aspect type on both items not being handled correctly.

There's a problem with infusing the Node Modifier. I attempted to craft the Node Modifier with 4 aqua ethereal essences. The infusion managed to suck up the gold blocks and greatwood logs, but froze on the essences and continued to suck essentia indefinitely even though the essences were there.

This seems to mirror similar issues that were coming up with Thaumic Tinkerer's infusion recipes (though they were related to mana beans, I believe). The mod author was unable to actually fix the issue, and resorted to instead changing the recipe to avoid it.

    EDIT:
    Version is 0.1.4a (1.7.2)

    posted a message on 13w36 / 1.7 - Significantly better performance?
    Quote from seventonblade

    And that's bad..?

Anything over 60 FPS is useless for anything other than benchmarking; the reason being because most monitors cannot produce anything more than 60 FPS (except for 3D monitors who use framerates up to 120 when displaying in polarized 3D mode), and even if they could, your eyes wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Probably would give some people headaches from the sensory overload though, which explains why a lot of people don't like polarization-based 3D moving images.

The human eye does not see in frames per second. It sees light. When you have a higher framerate on a higher hertz monitor (120hz, 144hz, or if you overclock your own) you will be able to perceive that difference as an increase in the smoothness of movement.

As for the increase in performance, I do agree. It would be foolish to think that they didn't clean up older, inefficient code when changing 25,000 lines. I have a rather powerful computer, so the difference is negligible, but those who have less powerful setups will definitely see the difference.

NEI and CCC are not detected, even though they're in the coremods folder. I'm using CCC 0.7.1.0 and NEI 1.4.5.1.
Am I the only one with this problem?

If by undetected you mean you cannot actually use NEI, regardless if it's enabled or not, then yes.
I've checked everything, of course using the latest Forge version with OptiFine, and have found no obvious reason for the mod to not work. There's no exceptions being thrown in the logs, no errors, no "unable to load NEI" problems, it simply just refuses to work for absolutely no reason. The most confusing thing is the fact that it began to do this even though I hadn't changed a single thing about the configuration of Minecraft (including mods, internal mods, Forge and OptiFine). Even after removing all modifications from FML, and downloading the latest versions of both FML and OF, I still was unable to use NEI. Also, earlier versions of NEI (specifically 1.4.4.0) no longer work as well.

If anyone has solved these issues, mind messaging me or posting something on this thread? I'm still struggling to find an answer to this, and would like to continue using the rather convenient features NEI has to offer.

posted a message on Why I HATE pvp servers
I'm not going to take the time to read this entire thread, instead, I'm going to say that whatever your opinion is is your opinion and, honestly, you don't need to impose that opinion on every person in this forum. I don't care that you don't like PvP, go find a different server that suits your wants and interests. Those of us who actually do like the Hardcore PvP deal will enjoy playing our servers while we don't have to hear kids like you whine about how "horrible" PvP is. Minecraft is what you make of it, it is both a PvE/PvP oriented game and a way to express creativity in ways you couldn't otherwise.

    TL;DR

    No one cares.

Considering I can't talk in game, I was muted for no apparent reason before being banned. The mute hasn't been lifted, and I was wondering if it could be removed. Thanks.

    We are deciding your fate.

EDIT: We will unban you in 24 hours. However, we are impressed with your ban appeal, but do remember, next ban results in a permanent ban. :(

Well, thank you! Hope to see you all tomorrow, after I get rid of Nodus (I was assuming you knew, I didn't want to post it for other people that didn't know about it to find out).

    >IGN: Koanga

    >Why were you banned?: X-raying

    >Why should you be unbanned?: Honestly, I don't expect you to un-ban me. I'm not going to make up some stupid ass lie that my brother was on my computer, or that I was just getting really lucky. No, that's not the truth. Here's the story: I downloaded a modded client (no, I wont tell you which one it is) and decided I wanted to see just how easily I could get diamonds and other ****. I went on your server, a server that I had added after wanting to play a hardcore PVP survival, but never really played on. I X-ray'd two times, once while no admins were on (and later on dying, with a significant amount of diamond equipment and other precious items on me) and the second time, where I was caught by Sgtstricker (impressive how you actually caught me. I was pretty surprised considering, as a staff member on a long-dead server, we never had the tools to crack down on hacking) and, after attempts at intimidating me and using other profanities (not un-deserved), I was banned. Now, here comes to the good part: why should I, an offender of one of the golden rules of Minecraft servers, be un-banned? The answer is, who would be stupid enough to type a long-ass unban appeal with proper grammar and get themselves on a high priority watch list just to get banned again? It would be useless for me to waste the time posting this request if I was intending on getting myself banned again, and I know anyone in my position, posting an appeal this long, would probably agree. Well, that's all.

    Thanks
    ~Koanga

    Updated this thread to v0.7.3.23.11!

This adds huge updates to the syntax for commands, making it even more compatible. It also adds BOSEconomy support, and fixes a glitch relating to stack amounts!

    Happy trading!
