I play it with one friend on my server. Any more and I'd say we wouldn't get anything done, as well as have everyone fed. There just isn't enough food for a lot of people in the beginning.
The ultra limited supplies would be distributed to everyone and there wouldn't be proper cooperation to piece them together and win the challenges. Not to mention people screwing stuff up and ruining the map. When I first started the skyblock challenge I had to restart like 3-4 times because I kept using supplies incorrectly.
A long time ago in a 1.8 speculation thread I read C148 created a whole range of new sound effects - specifically one I was looking forward to is new minecart sound effects. What ever happend to this? Currently the dead silent minecarts are kinda lame and I was hoping the speculation was correct, I vaguely remember there being proof as well, but obviously there is none in the 1.8 update and there's nothing listed for 1.9.
I suppose you could rig pistons at the end to push on top of the blocks every 30 seconds or so... If a mushroom lands at the end it'll get pushed off onto a pressure pad showing the score. Dunno if the piston updating the ending block every 30 seconds would reset the timer that tells when to spawn a mushroom though.
I built a rather nice log cabin my first night and have been living in it since May 4th, 2010! I built a town around it and gave the cabin multiple floors all the way down to bedrock.
Windows 7 Laptop, nothing fancy. The thing is that it was perfectly fine before, then my computer bugged out and when I reopened minecraft this issue started happening. And it never went away.
Well, do as LGT said. If that doesn't work, try a fresh re-install of Minecraft, and Java.
Depending on how physics will be programmed, I'd suggest trying to create some sort of highspeed transportation system. Perhaps it would be more cost effective than rails to fling around from piston tower to tower?

Does not work on Droid X2Nevermind! It appears to work after some fiddling.

I'm no expert, but maybe it will help.
