Ok I lied. Its not working. The game loads fine, but when i go into a world that had villages they are all gone. Pressing "v" says no village closer than 2km, even though I am standing where one was.
Fresh install time? I really don't want to go through the whole modding process again...
no all that means is you need a new map you must have loaded it while you didnt have the mod

it worked at one time then when i restarted my computer the next day nobody was moving so i hit v and it said the village was frozen
Yes because not only does that sound like it belongs in the "RELEASED MOD" section, but it is worth posting that you are going to post information later about a mod you did not describe in any useful way. Totally not a waste of anyone's time.
sorry there was a huge storm rolly in and my power lines go down too easly so i quickly posted that and then unpluged my computer

This mod will attempt to give more purpose to minecraft as well as making it more fun! All the new ores will only be smelt-able in a forge except for gunpowder ore (need a better name)
A forge will be like a furnace but this will be used for making alloys and will only be fueled only by gunpowder the gunpowder will last for two uses the forge will have 2 input slots and two output slots the two inputs are for iron and a mineral the second output will be slag 1 slag will be made every time the forge is used
I am defiantly adding a forge and these following minerals witch will be used in alloys
boron_____making hardened steel when combined with steel in the forge
chromium__making stainless steel when combined with steel in the forge
silicon___making spring steel when combined with steel in the forge
And I will add these minerals witch will be usable by themselves
titanium_this will be used with tungsten to make special T&T(titanium & tungsten) tools
tungsten_this will be used with titanium to make special T&T(titanium & tungsten) tools
i think you will get more downloads if you put up the crafting recipes on your page as well as tell us how long each fuel burns in each furnace all on the first post and what each tool dose as well as other things like what it takes to mine each ore
I dont see how i can get 32 (i counted) mods to work all at the same time but when i try to install this on a clean install it didnt work heres what i did IN ORDER
*opened .minecraft
*opened bin
*opened minecraft.jar with jzip
*opened modloader 1.7.3 with jzip
*deleted META-Inf
*put all contents from modloader 1.7.3 into minecraft jar
*opened steamcraft
*put all content from put in jar into minecraft jar
*closed minecraft jar
*created new folder in .minecraft called mods
*put all contents of put in mods into mods folder
*put all contents of put in .minecraft into .minecaft
*started minecraft
Black screen and error so i when and read the modloader.txt file in .minecaft (it tells you what whent wrong)it said this

damn! i have NEVER had a problem with jzip before i did the same exact thing with winrar and first time it worked thx so much nevr would of thought

nomatter how you install steamcraft it wont work with modloader add a Mod_steamcraft.class file!
