Ermahgerd, so many pointless updates. :|
Why can't they fix bugs with out "updating"? I know they have done that at least once. :/
You can't fix a bug without updating when the bug client sided.
And imo it's about time they do something about all those pesky bugs, Minecraft is much more fun without em - To post a comment, please login.

Hey, there seems to be some sort of very heavy Z-fighting issue I'm encountering when I combine resource packs that use connected textures to create block overlays (such as Conquest) with (GLSL) shaders. Could it be related to AMD? I'm on a RX 480 4GB, driver version 17.12.2 (latest as of now).
Is this a known issue? Right now the only thing I can do to remove the texture flickering is either turning off connected textures or use no shader.

Very cool man, keep up the great work

What a great shader, it looks great and it runs extremely well compared to the others.
I have a feature request, or actually two, if you would not mind
I enjoy having a pretty warm look, however I noticed that the temperature tint adjustment doesn't really allow for a large range (just goes up to 0.3), and there are no settings to increase the overall saturation of the end result. Could you maybe add something that allows us to adjust saturation/brightness/contrast and could you also increase the range for the temperature tint effect?

Does anybody know of any other packs for aether II 1.6.2 ?

Aside from that, two major issues have been bugging me though:
1.) After 1-2 hours of gameplay, the game crashes with an out-of-memory error while it didn't even go over half of the allocated memory
2.) If the above doesn't occur, after 1-2 hours all sound simply stops working (except for music). Then, when I press f3 + S (or switch resource pack) to reset/fix the sound, all blocks suddenly lose their texture with the resource-pack that was on. If I repeat f3+S a few more times, the textures sometimes return, or don't return at all, or minecraft simply crashes without an error window.
If I switch resourcepack though, default will be fine, but other packs will be missing various parts, or the game will simply crash on switching resource pack.
All of this doesn't happen when I turn off Matmos in-game when playing, so that's how I narrowed it down to this.
I'm using a resource pack with some new sounds as well, and I'm (partially) using the MSI expansion pack for Matmos.
I have to mention that, even before getting MSI, lots of versions ago in older builds of matmos, I also had this out-of-memory issue with the mod, but the whole sound dropping out thing is new.
I'm running the latest Java 32-bit on win 7 32-bit, and I have 1gb RAM assigned to Minecraft, which should be plenty.
Any idea on what can cause this problem to occur?
You trying to run matmos as a resource-pack? Because it's not, you need a modloader like Forge for it to work, and it has to go in the "Mods" folder then.

Will there ever be support for fancy fog on ATI video cards?
I really hate the way how the normal/fast (line) one looks, as if the fog shifts when you rotate your view.

The crash seems related to the fact I was wearing armor, because I could do the same thing without crashing when not wearing any armor sets.
Crashlog:
I use many mods though, maybe one of them conflicts with yours somehow.

Because many people download mods.
Much better
You have to add durability/speed info for the tools though, are they any better than diamond for example? And how rare is the ore?

Ah I see, I'll try it out anyway

I agree with the other guy, a toggle or something would be nice... As far as I can see the point of the mod is to make villagers defend themselves, not necessarily to make villagers human.

You mean 'lazy', not 'bad'.
Just like the previous guys said, it's a matter of 3 mouseclicks and you're there.
If you can't figure something simple like that, you should not begin with making texturepacks imo, or just get a better image editor with a simple to understand interface, like paint.net or Paintshop Pro 9 (Last one I use to do my stuff).
