For someone who is on a first name basis with the respawn screen, what is the best of these for begginers?
I would recomend Hills of Moo for an (extremely) easy one. For more of an actual map, try out Infernal Sky II, then Sunburn Islands or Spellbound Caves. Afterwards, I'd recommend Sea of Flame II, Inferno Mines,
*rolls on floor covered in spilled popcorn and soda laughing my soul out*
Blazes: Get them near a wall after firing and boop boop boop
Slimes: Boop Boop Boop Wait why did they split *dead*
Blazes = Slimes
:3
Slimes are never a danger. Unless you get a really sucky hitboxed slime, you will easily overcome. A slime's splitting is not a real danger. The middle slimes have 2 hearts, which is never a scary thing. And baby slimes can't even do damage.
This is what this once grand thread has become? People talking about the importance of slimes and ponies? Slimes give slimeballs. Make sticky pistons and fire resist. Ponies give leather. Make armor and books. End of story.
*Goes back to read pages 1500-2500 for the nostalgia.*
It is kinda sad. However, since most of the old regulars have left, vechs is focusing on youtube, and much less LPs are going on, there isn't as much to talk about. Really, the only thing to talk about now is recent LPs posted and how a snapshot affects CTMs in general.
Oh, and Pegasi > Ponies > Slimes > Humans. Pegasus master race. (Please rage at me Bly it's adorable when you defend the fail ponies.) (And AJ is still awesome.)
You seem to misunderstand the world. Obviously, as seen in Vechs maps, Zombie Pigmen are the masters of the world. Next come the faithful and cute cave spiders, silverfish, and ghasts. Then you have the lower end of spiders, creepers, skeletons, blazes, and mooshrooms. This obviously doesn't include custom mobs, which are genetic freaks and thus, are not mentioned by name.
Slimes would, of course, be based in this list on size. A huge slime could maybe even fir into the cave spider category, while a tiny slime merely counts as a pet.
(And ofc ponies, horses, and anything remotely resembling a pony or horse goes dead last, to be used as delicious BBQ food.)
Are you sure? I remember seeing someone beating the old sea of flame with a victory monument, and the monument location and appearance was different from the legacy version and current version, I might be wrong, but I guess I'll just have to download it for myself to see if it is really true or not.
EDIT: To avoid double posting, yes, the old sea of flame was indeed a CTM map, here we have the monument:
No, SoF I was NOT a CTM map. It was purely a much harder survival map until Vechs made Kaizo Caverns, after which he added monuments + wool to SoF, Endless Deep, and Infernal Skies. However, the wool places were kinda random and derpy, and there were many duplicates, leading to it still being mostly a survival map.
I agree that these maps should have much less abundance of resources. In legendary, finding iron was a real (and hard) accomplishment, while in Inferno Mines it's a huge giant chunk. It isn't that fun to have no consequences for dying, but it also isn't fun to have the map brutally kill you with no hope left.
So, community question. What's your view on spawning in items for maps?
Mine would be if it doesn't help you in any way for dungeons it would be okay to spawn in if there was no source of it in game. If there is a source, I think you should build a grinder first, then you can spawn in the items (as long as you didn't make a really crappy grinder that doesn't work).
Who is Rosie? as i break bedrock, except in creative mode, there is some teleport?
Rosie is a Lets Play person and beta tester for the map. The teleported lets her teleport in that room. Only other way is spamming enderpearls or glitching.
How to enter the room that has enderpearl spawner clased in bedrock.
Obviously you already entered it if you know there's an enderpearl spawner there. Anyway, you can't. Only Rosie can, since she's the person the enderpearl spawner is set to.
How often have you actually been able to GET a "God Apple"? If I wanted Regen, Fire Res, and Strength, I'd GET Regen, Fire Res, and Strength. No point in wasting gold to get something you can get in larger quantities easier. And besides, 8 Gold Blocks is WAY too much for what you're getting.
Now, an Enchanting Table, potions, and armor.... Yea.
Honestly, with how useful a OP gold apple is in CTM maps, and the large quantities of gold thrown about everywhere, there's no reason not to make one. They provide a good amount of resistance, absorption, and regen IV, making you basically invincible as long as you have even iron armor on. This is a very useful skill to have

Zombie Cleo = Me
I rest my case.
More on topic, any guess for what vech's secret project might be? I'm lookign forward to it
