    I'm having some more troubles, this time with Ore Gen. Everything compiles, but my ore doesn't seem to be spawning in the world.


    It might be related to predicates, but I'm not sure. I was prompted to choose from 4 versions of predicate, and com.google.common.base.Predicate was the only one that didn't cause Eclipse to throw a bunch of red lines at me. Was it the same one you used?

    Hey, great tutorials so far. I noticed a bit of an error in the Tools section. If you just do what your tutorial says, then while everything compiles fine and stuff, but the tools won't show up in their respective creative tabs, or any for that matter.


    I got around this by adding a "CreativesTab tab" argument to the constructors of all the tools, and added a "setCreativeTab(tab)" to the bodies of them. Then, adding "CreativeTabHandler.tabTools" to the initialization lines in ItemHandler for the tools, and "CreativeTabHandler.Combat" for the sword.

    posted a message on Adjusted sea level
    I was thinking... With the new height limit, it seems... unbalanced... So I was thinking, an adjusted terrain generator. It made sea level 128 or so, instead of having only 1/4 of the map underground, having 1/2 like in old times. The only problem I could think of would be the clouds... Well, the clouds aren't too big a deal. Anyone think this is possible?

    Ever been banned? No. I've always been that guy with OCD that replants the trees, and teaches people why their mining techniques are all wrong.
    Experience with minecraft? Been playing since the haloween update. I obsessively compulsively read the wiki. Done.
    Experience with servers? I own a server, pay for it myself. I know how to herd people to an extent. I like Co-operation with teammates.
    Race? Elf, and Human.
    Why those races? I'm fairly adept with a sword, yet my bow aim is great and I like jumping on treetops. =3
    Extra info? I'm fairly safe about my mining/romping around,I never spelunk without armour. I do require people to help me and be my friend and co-operate with me, and this semed like a good factions server.
    Changing skin? I wear a Link skin, minus the hat and with shades. Would that already count?
    Website? There's a website? I don't see that link =/

    Hello, I'm back with a new custom map. This one is for the Invasion mod (http://www.minecraft...t/topic/780480-), where you must survive as many waves of mobs as you can. This map hasnt been playtested yet, because when I tried, I fell off the roof and got torn apart by a zombie grunt :sad.gif:. Seed is 10001001010, for those interested.

    I tried this mod with just modloader, and didnt even have TMI on there either. I didnt see any readme.txt in the zip, I've installed many mods before, and it still crashes. When I try to read th ecrash report, it closes after a second and I can't even highlight any text. :sad.gif:

    I was thinking more along the lines of a regular ore that has the appearance of netherrack but would have like orange fire/lava(?) showing between the cracks of it.

    An idea I had was for something that would be able to enable you to shoot ghast fireballs without something like the voxelsniper. It would not be too easy to get, however. Craft 9 ghast tears into a Ghast's sorrow, (which I'm not sure how it would look) and put the Ghast's sorrow into the crafting grid above a gold ingot above a stick. Any ideas or modders willing to try this?

    An Idea I had earlier today was to have pure fire as a collectable ore, perhaps found only in the nether. Maybe instead of getting the fire block though, maybe just get something else like a ball of fire drop instead, as you might accidentally rightclick, and the animation in the inventory would be distracting. But the tools you could get from these would look epic, I can make the textures and post them on here in a bit. Maybe a perk would be things you mined would be instantly smelted (iron ore dropped ingots, wood dropped charcoal, sand drops glass, etc). However, instead of just having chainmail armour, add new armour that would cause enemies that attacked directly to catch fire. Any suggestions? :VV:

    Slime Temple
    A jump course by Link Master 64 using mods from the YogBox
    List of mods:
    -Equivelent Exchange (aggregator timer, dark matter boots)
    -Pfaeff's mods (Slime jump pads)
    -Crystal wing (for warping back and starting again)
    -Bone wands (jump sticks in case you need help)
    -YogBox (installer)

    Also, I had Mo' creatures installed when building so you may want that, though it *should* delete the non-vanilla mobs.

    This is a map where you attempt to jump across all the way around by hopping across the slime jump pads. It is reccomended you sprint as you jump, as if you stop sprinting at any time, chances are you'll fall.

    Story: Slimes had build this temple long ago to train the growing er... slimes in the skill of jumping. It was effective, untill Steves invaded Minecraftia and forced the slimes to move underground, abandoning the temple. Steves polished things up a tad but weren't able to make it perfect at all due to the griefers amoung them. Now, you wake up next to it and take a look inside.
    The map is not totally done yet. I still would appreciate feedback. Remember, the aggregator form of timer is temporary!
