Hello. I have a server in development and I have a minor problem. I want to keep a non-changing ip without the use of server hosting websites. I've tried to use my internal ip address, but it works to no avail. Does anyone on this forum know how to make a public ip static?
Maximum diamond in one vein is 8. Diamonds can't be near each other unless it's 10 block from each other.
Also , diamonds are only under Y:16. They can't be right under your house. Unless you mean in the cave that is right under your house.
Sorry, that's what I meant. And yes, I think there was some cobblestone seperating the diamonds in the ravine.
You're either making that up because you have a really small chance of spawning right on top of a diamond ore.
Also , you need tools before digging down , am I right?
Well, maybe he wanted to get straight to the point, OR he forgot what tools he used. Another choice would be that he's lazy to type it all up or, yeah, he could be lying. So much thinking
Once I was playing SMP survival with my friend. We found a ravine beside a village (with a blacksmith) and decided to go down into it. We found 2 stacks of Lapis and a bunch of Iron and Coal. We also found an abandoned Mineshaft connected to the Ravine. Found Lots of Redstone and Gold. Found more caves.
By the time we came out of the ravine and went in the village, we already had 2 full sets of iron armor, and 2 diamond picks...

lol. I can concur with that. One time, me and my friend found a ravine with a wall of 18 DIAMONDS. 18 diamonds in one wall. The seed was blargityblargblarg too xD
First time I got diamonds was when I spawned right near an NPC village and the chest contained no less than 3 diamonds! Score! I used them to make a pickaxe and mined until I found a cave with lava, then mined more diamonds! YAY! XD haha
You both are so goddarn lucky xD I usually find bread and wheat in chests there : p
If you mean not finding them in a chest, then about 4-5 minutes. How? There was a challange here on the forums about how fast you can find diamonds. I broke every rule of minecraft and only got 3. D:

Minecraft was nearly destroyed in version 1.8.1. They called it the "Adventure Update", it was supposed to be focused on exploration, but what is the point of exploring if every bit of terrain appears the same? I am fairly confident that jeb will address the terrain issue at some future update, though I don't see it coming soon.
Honestly, I never even heard of that :0 But there is a lot of skepticism with that if all the terrain looks the same :/ Perhaps new biomes will be adventure mode exclusive...! That's interesting. I hope Jeb and Notch do something about it.
Personally, I really like the new updates. In my opinion, while fairly unbalanced at this time, the npc trading system is a greate addition, I also really like the idea of the ender chest.

I'm even trying to make a bukkit server, but I've said enough about that.
Minecraft is an excellent game to play and heck, I think I saw a school using Minecraft for learning! Well, on Youtube anyway...

That usually happens with me as well on my regular survival world :/
