I cannot seem to run any world with NEI installed. I am attempting to install NEI with terrafirmacraft. Forge is installed. I get everything to install, but after I create a world, and attempt to run it, the game shuts down. I attempted to put a copy of a world into the save folder and try to run that and get the same error.
Not sure when this started...as I hadn't played muiltiplayer since TU14 came out, but last night I had a friend in my world. After riding the minecarts, One or the other of us would become invisible....it was funny seeing an empty minecart coming into the station..then hearing "footsteps" and the activation of the pressure plate (that returns the cart to the dispenser after getting out of the cart), but not see the player or gamertag of that person. I was host, but we both had the invisible episodes. Sometimes riding the minecart again, would reverse the invisibility. It all seem to center around riding the minecart. I would have thought it was lag...but hearing the footsteps and seeing doors and pressure plates activate by the other player and not see the player was down right creepy. My world was possessed...LOL
Been using this mod for a couple weeks now, and I have to say I really enjoy this mod. I have been researching and watching youtube videos about this mod, which really helps a lot. The survival aspect is great. Seasons, food gathering/growing etc, very intriguing. Keep up the good work on this mod and looking forward to updates.
I obtained his seed awhile back from his Facebook page. It is 6644803604819148923. He created this seed several TU's ago so there have been biome shifts since he created it. Plus he has terraformed a lot of his land for building and projects.
I actually saw this problem on a youtube video by Stampylongnose. He was building, and as he was traveling a spider hit him from behind, he turned and hit the spider, and the dog went to the spider as if he was attacking, but then suddenly sat. He was using an enchanted sword with flame on it, but I think this is exactly what the OP talking about with the dog sitting. The time stamp is 12:48
Bonus chests are back yay! However, the option to toggle them off and on in options after you have created a world is still missing. I cannot confirm if you had not chosen bonus chest in pre TU14 world, how you get them to spawn after TU14 to get potatoes or carrots. Zombie drops for me have not produced nothing but rotten flesh so far.
Bonus chests have reappeared for me in both the TU13 and TU14 worlds. However, there still isn't the option to turn bonus chests off and on. I guess it will depend on when you originally made the world if you get a bonus chest or not. I have received both potatoes and carrots in my bonus chests. As of yet, I haven't been able to get zombies to drop them. So YAY for bonus chests!
Actually a re-release for a limited time of this DLC would make perfect business sense IMHO. People who are new to minecraft would be drawn in to get the DLC that they have been wishing for and missing. I had worked for a site that had this dilemma about whether to re-release rare(limited time) items and we decided to see how it went, and actually it went better than we expected. We decided which items could be re-released and re-offered them along with some new items and again for a limited time. The key is advertisement so people can save up for the items when they are re-released. I think the Halloween textured pack should be re-released around August so people have time to plan and build their Halloween worlds, and new people joining those worlds could get the full benefit of it. I really don't think they are interested in making money for these packs since they are so cheap, but it would generate continuing interest in Minecraft.
I have an odd split screen problem. My nephew created a game, and he is silver membership. I joined him and I have gold membership. Had no problem first day we played. Second day, we did the same thing, however, when I joined I found I could not move and my name that is usually up on the split screen (not the gamertag) wasn't visible and I cannot get it to reappear. I found my controller had defaulted and I had to reset all settings especially the sensitivity. My skin was back to a Steve skin and when I went to change my skin to one of my favorites,all I had was creeper skins in it. We signed out of the game, and I went into one of my worlds and although the controller settings were fine, the skin favorites was all creeper skins. I changed my skin and saved it to favorites, but odd things have been happening on his world. Tamed wolves that were spawned in, sat in a building and dyed with different colors, all vanished in a 5 minute period. And other odd weird things have been disappearing in chests. My profile seems fine on all other games...just in Minecraft it seems to be disrupted.
Had an odd issue with tame wolves. We spawned 4 wolves in and tamed them. 2 for each player. Then we bred them till we each had 4 wolves. We dyed the collars with our colors and put the dogs in a building with a door and we sat them down. After 5 minutes we came back to finish the "doghouse building" and every single dog that was in there was gone. Only 4 cats remained in the building.We looked everywhere and we cannot find or hear them.
But I disagree! It is a hacker named Mojang. They have hacked everyone's game and gave us villager skins and other annoying surprises if you haven't heard them yet.
It has been 5 and half months and a major update and I had a big surprise. After ALL these months, I returned to my house by minecart after exploring my towns and I heard a dog. ONLY in the region of my New house. Then when my minecart stopped, there was this wolf standing by the minecart. I didn't see a collar, so I ignored him. Walked into my house and he came to follow me...was that a glimpse of red? (I had dyed all my other dog collars so none had red at the time). He wouldn't come in the house, so I shut the door and began to put away my supplies and behold...a dog appeared in my kitchen. Couldn't see the collar again, so decided to do a quick save before I try to sit him. After saving I touched him and behold he sat and I could see the red collar again!!!! One of my dogs....returned home FINALLY after all these months and he found his way to my new house.
