Reason for joining: Recently I've been really upset with the general Minecraft community as it has grown young, squeaky, traitorous, and annoying. It even smells of stinky cheese! It's ruined public servers for me and playing with other people has always been the most exciting part of the game for me. Seeing something other than you interacting with the world. I attempted to start my own private server like this, but we had griefing issues and never found out who it was, it's a shame. I had to close it down as I could not continue to let someone get satisfaction from ruining others hard work. Reason why we want you: It looks as if you don't, you've met your goal of 20 players. I decided to apply on the off chance you need someone to fill the gap. I enjoy trying to build things I have no experience with. Currently my goal is to make an underwater base of sorts. And as I've said I will try my hardest to attend all server events and know and learn to like everyone on here. Why do you want to join our server?: I ran a server similar to this until a few days ago, I'm not particularly strong dealing with griefers and immature players without plugins. After the second massive spawn grief and we had still not found the culprit I disbanded it. The host I was using mysteriously "lost" the daily backups I had been making, in addition to other problems they made me deal with, oh and they wiped chat logs, brilliant. Really I just want to join this place to experience the community I was attempting to create. You seem to be looking into your applications deeply, which I'm hoping can mean more stability.

All will at least attempt to be sociable.
There will be no cheating, for anybody, under no circumstances.
There will be no server modifications, no factions, no Iconomy.
So in short, no power-crazy admins, an active community, with no annoying plugins which every server seems to be running nowadays. Mindcrack-like pranks are tolerated and encouraged. I'm looking for twenty or so people, the server will be open friday October 4th and will be purchased to fit the needs of those accepted.

Secrets Of Kalendor is a role playing factions PVP server. The over all concept is currently there are two kingdoms at war with each other for control of the land. The bigger of the two kingdoms is call Kalendor and is lead by the great King Maxwell the Third. His kingdom is very vast and has many small farming villages and two major port towns. The smaller kingdom is lead by the not so great King Denrono. His Kingdom has been stricken with the plague and his people and in very bad shape. King Denrono hopes to bring peace with his people but if the feuding over farm land and lumber yards keeps happening with King Maxwell there just might be a war.

How to get player ranks
First you mus join the site: http://kalendor.enjin.com/. After you have joined, you will automatically be promoted from Novice to Adventurer. You then have to fill out the Character application which is found directly under where you log in and out from. You rank will be what ever class you pick on that forum. Then when you submit your application and it will be reviewed in a timely manner and you will 1 get that rank and be on your way to adventuring or 2 have to fix what ever mistakes an admin finds wrong with your application.
How to become staff
In order to be considered for a staff position there 1 has to be an opening and 2 you have to have at least 2 weeks of logged game play on the server so we can be sure you are familiar with our rules and customs. You would then apply on the forums for either Warden or Advisor. Here are links to those applications:

We Have a wide variety of plugins for the server to include: Factions, McMMO, EcnoMob,Wizards and many more.We also use two forms of currency Gold ingots and nuggets for shops via the plugin ShopKeepers and the dollar which is used to purchase homes and shops for you to sell things on your own. I've been playing Minecraft since mid beta, and I'm looking for a new server to play on and hopefully stay on. I'm a good player in all areas of Minecraft and have managed quite a few server and will without a doubt be a great addition to your server.
I am looking for a Semi-Vanilla server. No Factions, Towny, Mcmmo, or any other crap like that. Only plugins for administration and security such as Worldguard, LWC (Plz no lockette), and Coreprotect/Logblock/Whatever it is nowadays. Please no servers with excessive and simply annoying plugins.
A community not big but not small would be great, maybe 5-10 people on usually. Mature, I'm 20 and don't have a problem with kids, they just need to be of the mature type. A vent or teamspeak would be nice but not needed.
I would prefer PVE, but PVP is fine as long as both parties must agree to fight. Whitelist yes! I know this is a lot to ask for but I'm sure there is a server out there that matches this criteria, if you own or know of one tell me.

Hey, I was wondering, Is it possible to stop a sound that's playing in Minecraft? I'm considering making a map and it would be really sick to have overworld music imported into a resource pack and when you leave the area it could turn it off? If not I suppose you could just have the areas in far away separate places with redstone timers continuously renewing the music loop, then simply have entrances to other areas which warp you to the respective place.
