    Make sure you have them set to always active unless you want to power them with redstone.

    Also you should set the /title command block to conditional so it doesn't spam that title 20 times a second.

    sixfootblue could actually make it animated, he could make the model like this:
    Bottom block would be any block that an item frame can be placed on, you would then put the grandfather clock in the item frame, then there would be another block (Possibly a fence so the block model doesn't stick out of the sides of the grandfather clock) with an item frame on it - and in that item frame would be a normal clock. And the model of the grandfather clock would have a specific part of it's model cut out to match up perfectly with the clock texture so it would appear that there was actually a clock in the grandfather clock.
    Clocks also do work in item frames so it would work.

    2. No. But if you are going to make your own, you can utilize 3d models for the sandbags and different damage values on a bow for the guns. (You can retexture an item depending on it's durability by using json or something, there are probably tutorials online)

    Too many good mods have stopped development, an example being Flans, Ore Spawn, Rival Rebels etc. All great mods that are no longer updated...
    It's disheartening.

    I recommend the blaze, or a new mob. By making blazes drop quartz farming would be a challenge, so manual mining would still be ideal until you find a double spawner or make a nether parameter.



    This seems like the perfect material to avoid this problem entirely. Prismarine is almost impossible to get sufficient amounts of by hand, so people make guardian farms. You can still go mining for quartz by hand.

    In other words, the game isn't even strongly encouraging you to make a quartz farm.


    Look I'm all for people making farms don't get me wrong, but I think some things should just be left to have to go out and gather. That's all.

    -1 You can make farms for pretty much anything nowadays. Let's not make Minecraft a game focusing around building mob farms, because then it becomes Farmcraft, not Minecraft.

    This is one of those topics in Minecraft that has been talked about a LOT, and I mean a LOT.

    It's similar to the topic on vertical slabs and stairs/slabs for every block. It's also quite similar to the coloured beds, which have now actually been added.

    While I don't see Mojang ever adding a slab and stair counterpart of all or most building blocks, I do see more potential variants in the future.

    But in all honesty, it wouldn't surprise me if we don't get it for a long time if at all.

    Uh, well I'm not one to criticize someone's personal preference but I don't recommend using any version under 1.9 for commands, they are very primitive and inefficient.

    But regarding your question, there's a few ways you can do this:

    Have a spawn egg place down the block and have it spawn an entity at the same time, then use a scoreboard timer to count down the seconds then remove the block and kill the entity, that's one easy way of doing it if you don't mind having to place down a spawn egg to place a block.

    I can think of other ways by using the /fill command but that would interfere with other blocks of it's kind if it was in a normal world.
