    posted a message on [1.6.4] [SSP/SMP/LAN] Unlit Torches v2.1.0
    i dont have a crash log but it crashes when i try to place a torch, regardless of lit or unlit. but im not looking for a reason i know its the multipart bug. what im asking is there anyway i can disable the new torches? i mainly want the lanterns of this mod because they look realy great and they work really well. if i could just disable the new torches from my game i should be fine. can anyone give me any advice on this? thank you for your time regardless. oh and ps, awesome mod! love the rustic feel of the lanters. the torches is a really sweet idea, would be perfect for someone lookingto do a more realistic playthrough or it would be perfectly coupled with a hardcore overhaul mod like terrafirmacraft because it fits the same spirit. keep it up.

    This mod looks amazing and i cant wait to play it once i update. Ive been lovin the furniture mod for quite some time now and this looks to be another top favorite. Noticed something from the videos tho that would make this better. maybe some kind of highlighted area or even just something that says the dimensions of the building (unless it does and im just blind) to help prevent melding with another structure or the terrain. please keep up the amazing work. XD

    Ive gone through this thread and i didnt see anything about this so i might as well suggest them.

    first i think crossbows would be very much in the spirit of this mod. multiple parts that could be put together on the tool forge. possibly 1 tough tool rod, 1 tough tool binding, 2 plates and possibly some kind of trigger mechanism. fires farther and faster than bows with armor penetration and mild knockback, but fires slowly. and maybe a possible light variant that fires faster but has less range, dmg, armor pen, and knockback.

    second, possible spears and or javelins. or even just some form of polearm. spear first on the tool table with just a knife blade and some tool rods. and maybe javelins with an arrow head and a tool rod or 2, the javelins could be made individually but enhanced in a group if the same thing. javelins could have higher armor pen but the drawbacks are, of course, its range is just how far it can be thrown and they cant stack very high, maybe five or six. spears only advantage would be range and possibly speed. and an upgraded/ tool forge version of the spear could be a halberd made with an axe blade, knife blade and tool rods. or a glave made with the large sword blade, a tool binding and tool rods. similar to spear it would have rande and some speed, possible addition of beheading for the glaive.

    third, i am very excited for armour and its implementation and have a few ideas, there could, simply enough, be 3 tiers of armour. light, medium and heavy. for the light it could be some kind of vest or shirt and depending on the material could be a hardened leather or light mail made with some new item that could be added. hardened leather could be just cooked leather, or something as complicated as making it with various materials combined with leather (im not very knowledgeable in the creating or curing of leather). and then you could make "rings" from the various metals and then shirt parts or the shirt itself could be made with a certain number. less for the light and more for the medium or heavy. i know there is more to making chainmail than just adding more or less rings but without making the creation increasingly tedious and making alot of stencils that wouldnt have any other kind of implementation, just adding more is a more simple approach. and then things like plate are fairly easy. we already have plates so we could use them. and a possible "layered" approach could be taken. like in order to make a chestpiece you would need to first make the actual armor and then make a wool or leather or slime undershirt/vest and it would help decrease knockback effects or status ailments. or if more parts are needed certain parts could be the vest/chest piece and then the shoulder pads. front, back, shoulders.

    possible tier 1 ranged weapon could be a sling, 2 pieces of bowstring and then a piece of leather or the like and then you could make bullets easily that dont have any modifiers, and that could be one of the drawbacks. cheap to make and cheap ammo, but the ammo cant be enhanced and there are very few modifiers that work on the sling itself.

    and different kinds of bowstrings would be nice, like slime soaked string or something. dont really have to much on this idea besides slime because it seems like it would work really well for a bowstring. and possibly paper fletchings for arrows.

    thanks for your time and any kind of response. i love this mod and i use it all the time.
    the only possible grievance i could have is that copper is only really useful in making bronze. because once you have a smeltery making anything from copper is pointless because iron is better and easier and bronze is better if you have a little tin.
    i think that making copper tool parts being able to be make at a part builder makes sense because in history, cultures who didn't have any kind of hot forging techniques still could make and use copper for tools and jewelry using cold forging. basically just shaping it with a rock. so if you could shape flint and obsidian i think copper makes sense. i just hate seeing copper being able to be used but there being no point in it ever int the evolution of your tools.

    love the mod, please keep up the amazing work.

    another idea, possibly the ability to make the statues a single color? and then make them colored when all three pieces of the same god are put together? maybe like a stone color or texture for them when you have mixmatched parts. just to make it look a little better for the custom gods

    god another idea about a possability, items of the gods. another thing you could add to a statue or even have as a small alter or possibly even use. examples could be zues' lightingbolt, odins spear Gungnir, hermes' sandals, artemis' bow, thors hammer Mjölnir etc. they could be added to statues to change something, maybe add a function or decrese time between "blessings". again maybe a small alter to place the item on and it gives some kind of buff. im a big history nerd and very into the various pantheons of the past, im also a follower of the norse belief. if you would like to message me and brainstorm i would love to chat more about it. love the idea of this mod and everything you have done so far. keep up the awesome work

    hey there, just made an account because i LOVE this mod and had some ideas for it that i think might work.
    an ODIN statue (one eyes, spear, raven on shoulder) and the ability could be that he grants extra EXP when you kill something near him. maybe just zombies, skellies and creepers because farm animals would kinda get broken or OP. maybe like INCREASE EXPERIENCE GAIN for the parts. possibly a SKADJI statue that makes it snow in the area. or a HEL statue that spawns zombies. or maybe even activated functions for things, you could make it so you can "pray" at a statue or altar for some kind of small buff or effect. or make it so you can make "offerings" and if its something good (depending on the deity, gold, weapons, jewels, things of possible value) there is an area buff of some kind. like for demeter, she grows plants regularly, but if you make an offering of some kind of plant like a flower, the grow speed of all the plants in the area is slightly increased. or if you offer fish to poseidon it rains. and possibly add in smaller 2 part versions you can craft that arent as strong and can only be "prayed" to. they dont drop anything and you cant make offerings, but a small buff would be nice. maybe buff the power of the big statues if you make a large temple for them? just some ideas, please keep up the awesome work, this is a great mod.
