But the beach looks flat and lifeless, it needs more character to it
Beaches are generally flat and lifeless. The only difference from Minecraft and real life is you don't see hoards of fatty tourists caked in sunscreen and there's no waves.
Sky worlds were originally part of the game, at least in Indev and it's a shame they're not making an appearance before the official release. I don't really like The End. Dark and boring, with dragons that destroy overworld blocks other than obsidian. So can't really even make an interesting outpost in The End.
Eh I would hate if they called it a heaven dimension cause then people will start calling the nether "hell" me being an agnostic atheist I would get annoyed by that rather quickly.
Most old schoolers call it hell anyway. Because the old Hell map generator which inspired the Nether. Also, don't be so intolerant. Atheism isn't about being pissy about anything related to religion.
Dragons are purely evil and destructive creatures. They kill things, eat things, steal things and sleep.
That is all they should have ever done. There's a reason people were always slaying dragons!

Stronghold generated in the same space as an abandoned mine, at the bottom of a Ravine.
