Just so you know, SS and HG versions ARE NOT a substitute for FR/LG. They have different stories, areas and SS and HG are missing the Sevi Islands!
Haha! You don't know who you're correcting, obviously. Of course I know that the Kanto experience in the two games is different, but if you're just trying to gain more perspective in the Pokemon world, HG/SS provide more than FR/LG do. I love FR/LG, but I recommend HG/SS to new players because it has more content, and is easier to procure.
YES! Oh my god, I spent way too much time playing that game.
I loved the ones where the ants are inside the person's house, and you have to avoid being squished. Or digging into the other ants' nest! Running from the spider, and those pitfall trap things...
That game was good times. I'm jealous that you have the disc. I haven't seen mine in years.
I'd want to try to play other Pokémon games other than only Emerald before I think about playing B/W, but I'm not sure
I'd suggest playing SoulSilver or HeartGold (that way you get to play both the Johto and Kanto regions, and you get to play around with two full generations of Pokemon) then play Platinum. Platinum has so much content; it's almost overwhelming.
I'd keep the receipt for the game (or some kind of proof-of purchase; maybe just having it on your account is enough proof) and ask them to send you a code that's valid in your home region.
The only pet peeve I have in regard to speech for which I'll openly correct people is when people pronounce Mario as "mayrio".
One of Mario's most famous lines is "It's-a-me! Mario!" Does he say mayrio? No. No. He says Mario. That is his name. Don't take my word for it, take MARIO'S WORD FOR IT.
A scientist is making fun of one of the cops (detectives?) calling him a nerd, then says something along the lines of, "One of my lab technicians keeps going on about something called Skyrim and Old Republic. You'd know something about those, wouldn't you?"
He responds, "Only until I took an arrow in the knee."
I don't know the show very well, but I got a little kick out of that.
I'm going to assume it's not against the rules to post old launchers (as it is with .jar's) so I'll post a link to the old one unless instructed otherwise:
Thank you so much. It's working with this version. Does anyone know what the changes are in the newest launcher? Nothing I won't miss, I hope.
You know; how you could add your username and password to the end of the file location in the shortcut properties. I just realized that doing so no longer skips the login screen.
Does anyone know whether this feature is coming back?
can we give away xbox 360 codes here aswell? Cuz i have a halo reach code that came with my xbox that may or may not have been used, if i can find it i'll give it away.
I'm pretty sure that anything you're willing to share is appreciated.
I watched the episodes at first (they were online though, so it's not like I was contributing) but I found that each episode felt too similar for me to really care about picking up the next one. The "tone" of the show didn't really ever change. All of my favorite shows provide more variety.
You heard right, Bastion is fantastic. Wait on Torchlight though, there's a sequel coming out in a few months.
Also, not technically a gift game as it's freeware, but you really all should check this out. http://nitronic-rush.com/
Oh, that's good to know about Torchlight, thanks. They'll probably do some kind of 2-for-1 bundle when the next one comes out. Or is it the kind of game where you don't need to play the first one? It's a randomized dungeon crawler, right?
Also, that freeware game looks really good. Downloading now.

I didn't say that they were the same. ..?

I didn't say it was against the rules; I just said I thought it was rude.

I agree, it's a bit rude to just come ask for games. Maybe offer something first, then ask about something in return.

What a glorious statement.
