So I've been looking for a somewhat specific server type that doesn't exist yet as far as I can tell. Seeing that your server has more server types than any other I've seen and seems to be expanding, I was wondering if you would be interested in perhaps adding my idea to your server.
It's a fairly simple (yet apparently unpopular?) idea. Players work together to survive as long as possible in a ridiculously deadly world that starts out entirely normal. As time passes certain disasters befall the world while players attempt to prevent or escape these disasters. These disasters can be as simple as mob spawners in people's bases or any town they have built to something as devastating as lava from the sky with an ender dragon on the loose. When a player dies they are sent to the next world which is another normal world like the first but is untouched by disasters until all active players (last 24 hours) from the previous world are dead. At this point the process repeats itself and players who die are once again sent to the next world the prepare.
I feel this type of gameplay would a welcome breath of fresh air to players who want a challenging server environment that doesn't revolve around PvP and rewards team behavior.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in adding please let me know as I can't find any server even remotely similar to this.
Before I begin, let me just point out that's it's usually not a good idea to listen to a first time poster offering to do something for money. That being said.
Trying to increase your donations is something you can't get help from outside your server. Either your players are or are not going to donate, plain and simple. If your server is good and you ask for donations you shouldn't need to offer perks and similar. I have donated to servers I like without rewards being offered to me. However I also had money at the time and when I ran low I stopped donating despite how much I loved the server.
Your trying to get donations from what is usually a player base of kids with no jobs. often with parents who aren't going to fork over the money. Plus many servers that use perks as incentive to donate will get one time donations from people so they get what they want and promptly stop caring that you need money to run the server. It's the reason I have never been bold enough to attempt to run my own server.
My advice, either fund it yourself or hope that your players are generous enough. Because there's no changing the fact that some people won't donate, some can't donate, and you can only add so many donation perks before you make people angry and quit because they can't stand on even footing with the guy who decided to drop $50 into the server.

The only thing you really can do is the very thing you just said you don't want to do... Make a server on your own machine.
Make one, tinker with it, get a few buddies to mess around on it, maybe even have them attempt to bust it just so you can learn how to fix any problems people might cause. That's the only good advice I can give you.
Ok, this may be an odd request, but is there any chance you adding chocobo fletched arrows? I find myself with stacks of chocobo feathers and practically no regular feathers. I don't care if it is just recipe for regular arrows or some special arrows.
A medium sized island with a larger desert island nearby. Tons of ocean. Amazing underwater ravines and entrances. A single tunnel entrance on first island with a single set spawn for the seed. Good looking mainland not too far off for when you start getting bored of caverns and oceans.

I can't access Realms and Mojang's status page is showing everything online.
I have already:
-restarted Minecraft
-logged out and back into my account
-sent an email to support and am currently in an 11 day waiting line
Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone have a suggested solution that I have not already tried?
