posted a message on 1.13.1 Realms "Invalid session"

I can't access Realms and Mojang's status page is showing everything online.

    I have already:

    -restarted Minecraft

-logged out and back into my account

-sent an email to support and am currently in an 11 day waiting line

Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone have a suggested solution that I have not already tried?

posted a message on A Mod that allows ground-level terrain generation --> Underground alongside caves and mine-shafts

Wait for 1.13, it will have a new data driven map generation that can do these things fairly easily if I'm not mistaken. Also below 0 on Y axis is the void, everything is above 0.

posted a message on Looking for someone interested in making a large mod

After repeated attempts at learning to mod and everything going horribly wrong I've decided to give up on learning Java. However this leaves me with a rather good mod idea and no way to implement it without help. Because this is a somewhat large project I'm considering, I'm just going to list the bare bones of what I need. If after reading you are interested and think you can get at least the basics functioning I would love to hear from you and answer any questions you may have.

I need multiple single color liquids that can actually be moved rather than just sit in one place as a source block. The liquid has to be able to have interactions with each other similar to lava and water. The liquids need to be able to damage and/or debuff players that are not on that team. Finally the mod has to be able to work on a server (it's fine if it needs a client side install as well)

There are a few decent ways I have considered calculating fluid movement that should make what I'm looking for possible without putting the system under a ton of stress like the old finite fluids mod. I bring this up because I know most people remember how bad that mod would slow the system when large amounts of water would get moved. The only downside is that because I'm not able to figure out Java and have only messed with these methods in scripting languages like Python and BASH, I am unable to tell if my options would even function until I test them.

There is more that I want in the mod that is non-critical, but what I've listed above is crucial to making the mod function. If you're interested in helping me please let me know. I'm fine with just the basics if you're not really into the idea of helping me take the mod beyond that as it will give me the proof of concept I need to try and get further support from others in the community.

posted a message on ENCHANTING PLUS
Can you please post the default amount of bookshelves needed to enchant at different levels on the main post? I'm not much caring for the trial and error I have to go through upon first use of the mod.

Also is there a glitch with pre-placed enchanting tables? I couldn't use my enchanting table until I destroyed it and replaced it.

I'm still looking for some help with this. Can anyone make this? I'm really wanting to play MC but this pathfinding glitch is making play unbearable. I am looking for server side and/or client side mods to swap out the pathfinding for zombies.

posted a message on [Idea] Realism Survival Mod (Make survival about survival!)
If you do get this mod made Pyro please consider leaving in the redstone powered rails, it's no less realistic than electric powered rails. If it's a big deal for realism just require redstone to have a power source beyond torches like a simple generator or maybe even use the daylight sensors as solar panels.

Oh and don't forget, domesticated animals should have behavior similar to what they have now. It's not often you see a cow freak out when approached by the farmer.

EDIT: Before I forget, please don't remove the hostile mobs. You may be going for realism, but removing all the hostile mobs takes the fun out of the game entirely. There's no reasons for villager guards when the world is devoid of monsters... besides you attacking of course, but I don't see every village knowing how to fight just because you exist.

Use the game's built in death counter. That's why there are no mods for it.

posted a message on [REQUEST] Zombie Pathfinder
I'm looking for a mod that will replace the current zombie pathfinding with an imporved or dumbed down version of the current zombie pathfinding. Maybe just a mod that replaces it with the old pathfinding, because the current pathfinding has a massive glitch when zombies try to target something thy can't reach and it lags the game all up and down.

Don't get me wrong, I love the new smarter zombies and would love to keep it, but not if it makes the game unplayable every time a couple zombies get stuck in a hole or outside my base trying (and failing) to reach me.

Edit: looking for SSP and/or SMP. I could use either really.

Anyone at all? I have tried all the common fixes and nothing is helping. I need an idea of where to begin to look for a solution here. It's not the Intel thing, I'm not on a laptop, RAM allocation makes no difference, even changing graphics settings in game does nothing. The game plays absolutely fine until you involve any sizeable amount of mobs into it at which point the block and mob lag just gets terrible to the point of unplayability.

Hi there. I've been looking for a solution for this lag I've been having lately.

-I'm only experiencing this block and mob lag in single player.
-I'm on a desktop with an ATI Radeon HD 5670 with up to date drivers
    -I have Win7 home premium x64
    -Using latest Java x64
-I have already tried increasing RAM
-I have tried changing all my in game settings

If anyone has a suggestions I would be most appreciated.

posted a message on Looking for extreme survival server
I'm looking for a server that most people I guess don't find interesting. If anyone wants to make a server like this or has heard of a server even remotely similar to this please let me know.

I want a server that focuses heavily on survival. A server that doesn't let you just build up and then sit there in your untouchable base and powerfully enchanted armor. I am hoping to find a server that starts as a normal world and slowly gets more and more deadly over time. I want to see messages on my screen that an enderdragon will be rampaging through our player built fort in 30 minutes, I want to come back to my base and find that mob spawners have been placed there, and I want to see lava from the sky.

And when I die I either want to be thrown back into it and be forced to work with the other players to salvage what we can and move on before the disasters catch up with us or to be respawned into a new untouched world with all the other dead players until all the active players have vanished from the previous world, and then it would begin again.

If this sort of server exists, if someone would like to make it exist, or there are just a lot of other players looking for this same kind of challenge and community then please let me know.

There really is no guide to this sort of thing. The best thing you can do is research any and all mods your server uses so you know how they all work, and learn how to handle people delicately to prevent people from raging when stuff comes up. As an admin people will look to you to solve their problems and you need to learn how to fix those problems on the fly as they arise.

Just the fact that you are asking this question is the sign that you have potential to be a good admin. Just learn everything about your server.

Your server sounds nice, but between the seeming lack of long term content and mandatory Skype (I have but don't like using when I can avoid it as it causes small amounts of lag some times) I just feel like it's just another server with nothing special that demands things from its players. Is there something I'm missing here that you haven't posted about the server?

posted a message on How do you get "Admin" experience?
I found plugins to be too much hassle. I left those to our team coder who wrote some custom plugins. There's a lot to running a server and sometime you just need to find the parts you're good at and do those to perfection while finding others who are better at the parts you're not. Ask someone else about the plugin stuff or find someone else to work on it. Same goes for other aspects like moderating, events, etc.
