I could easily do that, yes. And for a more personal update, direct to you, progress is happening. But what else is there to share? It's been less than two months since we announced the Mutation update and people assume that everyone's stopped working. If you heard about a game announcement and then didn't hear anything for two months would you assume the studio was disbanded or everyone got up and left?
Not really because modding is nowhere near as difficult as game design itself
Is the mod going to contain a combat system similar to the games? Because minecraft combat really sucks, and skill based combat would be baller as hell. Also, I've never player Monster Hunter Frontier however, I have played Freedom Unite and the original for the PS2
You know what confuses me? Why are these modders who have made tiny little mods getting a patreon? It begs the question, modding can be done relatively for free, but it depends on the size of the mod and the quality of the content that determines the overall quality of the mod, which is my main problem with mods like Divine RPG and OreSpawn. If anything, I say that the Aether team deserve a patreon over most others.
Well, I think they looks a bit bulky because it's all cubes in MC (save for the upcoming 1.8 update). However, in real MH, I could agree with you there, since Velocidrome actually isn't as bulky as Great Jaggi.
It is possible to slim down most models, and you're right, Jaggi's are more bulky than prey monsters, however, The Velocidrome still looks really odd because of how bulky it is.
If I may make a little criticism, the velociprey and velocidrome models look oddly bulky. I would slim them down a bit to make them look more raptor like.
When bit by a werewolf, there is a 1 in 200 chance of becoming infected with Lycanthropy. An infected player won't be aware of their infection until they go to sleep. Upon waking up, they will have a 30 second blindness effect and their inventory may have pieces of meat and fur in them. After a few nights, the player will start to become a werewolf when not asleep but they will be stuck in third person and won't be able to control themselves.
After a few nights of that, the player will be in full control of their curse and can do whatever they please in werewolf form. For one to be cured, the must drink an Essence of Light. The werewolf player can attack by biting with left click, and slashing with right click. Werewolves can climb up walls by holding control and can toggle sprinting with F.
The player can then drink an Essence of Fire to become a fire werewolf. And they can spread the curse by attacking people.
Lol, ya I know, its a bit of a pain, and way to limited, but at least its easy
and dont worry about it, my coding has also slowed to a crawl, ive got herbs and blue mushrooms in, as well as fire and antidote herbs, but im trying to get them to spawn in the world, also im thinking of having a type of torch that like a tiki torch that goes out in the morning and comes on in the night.
anywho, im thinking of doing it the long way, and making 2 for each version, a grown herb, that spawns around the world, and the herb item it drops that heals u, maybe 1/2 - 1 1/2 hearts
Nice. On the other hand I'm incredibly sorry about the lack of work from me. I've been very busy with school, but I only have a few more days until the summer break. Until then, I think I've resolved the Techne glitches and now i can begin work again. And now i have better knowledge on rotation offset and other things. So, let us begin.
My work checklist:
1. Rename parts on Velociprey.
2. Give rotation off sets to said model.
3. Start working on planned models.
4. ?????
5. Profit.
Oh yeah, sorry that model production has slowed to a crawl recently.
Techne is bugging out for me and i'ts really annoying. Did i mention that i hate techne? It's much more difficult than it needs to be.
But it's the easiest program there is so i just have to deal with it.

Depends on the game at hand. Minecraft is not a very complex game, thus is why it was made in java.

Let me know what you think of my idea!
