Hoping to work on this town first and then expand outwards across the map. It's a good size to work on and is not too big to appear overwhelming - it should be a fun project! I will post more pictures of the map as I work; watch this space!
Thanks for the kind comments!

Nov 21, 2014Been working on a quaint, small little medieval town surrounded by hills and pine trees. I am really quite happy with how this is looking at the moment so I thought I would share!Posted in: Screenshots
I haven't thought of a name or anything yet. The world is a group of isles; custom made to 2500x2500 blocks. I hope to expand it and populate it over time with my own unique style. At the moment it only really a group of houses. Each house is different from all the others but they are all kind of the same style. I really wanted to create a feel of venturing into the forest and feeling it get cluttered and vast the more you head into the town. I want to create as much detail as possible hence the large array of different types of blocks and extensive foliage in and surrounding the town. Using trees to disguise and guide where the player looks is also a fun technique as is the use of leaf blocks; something I have never tried before!
Please post your feedback and criticism Thanks!

Country of Residence: UK
Desired Position(s): Specifically a Builder and/or Lore Writer, however I am willing to provide help in any area!
Previous Experience that is Applicable to your Desired Position(s):
- Build Manager on Elder Scrolls VI: Akavir RP Server
I was in charge of coordinating all builds designed and implemented on the Elder Scrolls VI: Akavir Roleplaying Minecraft Server. This lasted for just under a year before the project was shut down due to staff disputes and finance issues. The time I spent as a Build Manager helped me to develop the skills essential for working in a team of builders (not just on my own) and working in collaboration with others on large scope projects. The world of Akavir was a huge medieval based map, based on the Elder Scrolls games and the lore written in them - I will enclose some screenshots of my work on there. Though these are limited due to the site's shutdown and loss of data etc. The scale of the project was huge and I was in charge of somewhere around 20 builders if I recall correctly.

- Moderator on Elder Scrolls VI: Akavir RP Server
I was also a Moderator on this server. Honestly, my Moderator duties were restricted by the vast amount of building work I had to do. However, from time to time I would happily chip in and help settle anything from RP disputes to sorting out technical aspects of the server such as plugins and allotting player residences. I believe I am mature and understanding enough to be fair when it comes to Moderating duties but I am also a fun-loving person and I am hesitant to always be stern and serious. I am not applying for a Moderator position in Alteran but I feel the experience and responsibility that came with my moderating of the TES server is a contributing factor for success.
- Keen fan of The Elder Scrolls series & fond writer
The Elder Scrolls is a well known series of games and one that I love and adore to play. The TES series is famous for its extensive in-depth lore and backstory which give it immersivity and depth. By playing the games I have a good feeling of how to write lore and tie it in with the server to create a believeable world. I would love to be able to put my English skills to good use and help you with this! I did help with lore on the TES server too so I have a little bit of experience. I also love to read and write - I like books such as A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin and Lord of The Rings by J. R. Tolkein. Being saturated in lore and outstanding pinnacles of the fantasy genre, these books have given me great ideas in the past. Hopefully that could be put to use in Alteran too.
Define what In-Character and Out-of-Character mean:
IC: Actions performed or words said by a user which are in-context of roleplaying and the player's personal character they have created
OOC: Actions performed or words said by a user which relate to the real world, not associated with any roleplay or their personal character. This is when you are your real self, not a character.
Anything else you wish to add:
This project sound great! I have always kinda wanted to create something like this myself but have never had the time or experience to do it! I would really like to be a part of this promising server and perhaps even help make it popular by creating a fun and immersive fantasy world!
May 24, 2013Wow, great work! I adore Dishonored - it's a FANTASTIC game and I especially love its art style and storyline combined with the architecture. You've done a good job here! Have you been working all on your own? Are you using some sort of plan from the game or are you making up parts of the city? This a very interesting project!Posted in: Screenshots

Skype: I do not wish to give you this if that's okay?
Building experience: I have had Minecraft since Alpha so I have a lot of experience building. I can build any style but my best is medieval/rennaissance era although I do have some experience with modern. Here's a link to one of my recent builds: http://www.minecraft...ce-styled-city/
Speciality: I can terraform with worldedit although I prefer building. I would also be willing to help with the lore too!
Fallout gameplay experience: Big fan of Bethesda so have played Fallout 3 and Fallout: NV - I have a platinum trophy on Fallout 3 with well over 100 hours total gameplay too. Love the series, especially the lore so I would be willing to help with that too.
Other comments/questions: Due to to other commitments I wouldn't be that devoted to this project but I'd be more than happy to help as I love the series
