No it wasn't always like that. It used to look amazing in fact.

Jul 4, 2012Some of these issues are already old, or have been tackled by other wondeful people. I'm just gonna answer the ones that slipped past.Posted in: Resource Packs

I wish there was a mossy and not viney texture for the new cobblestione.
And just a thing: is one of the netherrack alternates textures actually... sausages?
Nope! Those are entangled intestines. At one point they were the default texture for the block too... But too many people complained. I for one liked the 'body horror' style Nether, specially with shader support.

Someone says that this decodes enchanting
This isn't even a question =P
It doesn't anyway. Not that it would matter since enchantment words do not relate at all to the enchantment you get. This texture pack uses it's own enchantment font based on runes, it's slightly more readable than the Standard Galactic Alphabet if you get used to it, but your mileage may vary.

Whens this gonna get updated so that the water actually looks blue. I tried patching and it did not fix the error.

The answer is, clearly, that you didn't patch correctly. I'm going to assume you're a MCPatcher user (you don't specify,) so please patch it again making sure "Custom Colours" is ticked in the list of MCPatcher features. It is important that you do this with a clean Minecraft jar, either un-patch the one you have or download it again, but do not patch an already patched client, it won't fix anything.

Hey Misa, I'm not sure if you've been asked this or not... (273 pages is a lot to sift through) [...] I'm curious if you've thought about amping it up a little and taking to a 128X pack and getting even more detail out of it?
You didn't need to look through 273 pages, the answer is in the detailed FAQ in the very first post of the thread =P Here's the excerpt:
"Q: Will you make the pack resolution higher than 64x64?
A: Not with the pack in its current state. Possibly when mipmaps are adequately supported by the game. As it is though, my attempts at this have produced undesirable results. Namely HORRIBLY grainy distant textures and atrocious performance issues with the shader maps. "
May 24, 2012Five star work as usual, Misa. I'm the first one commend you as I am first one to enjoy your work.Posted in: Resource Packs
I'd urge you to give them another chance. Personally I do not feel they're in uncanny valley. With the mix of genders and races they all seem like such a happy Benetton ad family they become charming.Quote from Jamesman
My only complaint is the vilagers. Something about their design and the photorealistic faces (...) But then again, I've only seen them in screenshots, so maybe seeing them moving around in game would make me feel better about them.
Nov 7, 2011I'm no Misa, but allow me to get an unofficial response post in. Most of this stuff I've previously talked about with her anyway.Posted in: Resource Packs
She can always clarify after.
Currently she's still feeling a bit ill, though.
She already noticed that issue with the wheels. It happens to the default minecart texture as well, so it's clearly a texture mapping bug. You're free to "fix" it for your own use, but she's keeping it the same, waiting on Mojang to fix it on their end.Quote from nl37tgt
love the pack Misa, can't play MC without it. the new animated textures are awesome.
i did find a small texture issue on minecarts. the wheels on one side were upside down.
Definitely need to grab both the latest MCPatcher and the latest Misa release. Either of the two is causing your font spacing issue.Quote from jdawg_18
i have the HD Fix thingy, and i get really small text on my pc -
You're completely right on the water colour. It did not bug me as much when I started playing Minecraft. But once I switched to Misa's textures I can not stand default water. The drastic change in water colour makes my SSP look so ugly! Funny because otherwise I'm not one of those people whose retinas burn at the sight of vanilla textures...Quote from Liahna
Love the water color, it is very nice. I have always hated the royal blue default water it has always gotten on my nerves, your water is perfect. I don't think I've ever been this satisfied with everything in a texture pack before. I think I have found my new favorite! :smile.gif:
Should be fine so long as she's properly credited, yeah. But please link to this thread instead of a direct link to the downloads.Quote from urmomsmittens
may i use this texture pack in my let's play videos if i provide a link in the description box?
I prefer the original as it has a lot of personality and stands out from typical pulsing Redstone components. She has tweaked the original a bit to be a little slower and less attention-grabbing now.
EDIT: This is the Dispenser animation she's been working on for reference:
Oct 10, 2011With "villager" she didn't mean farmers and priests and such, she has already skinned those. She meant specifically the villager.png texture file inside the mob folder of minecraft.jar.Posted in: Resource Packs
Said file looks like the default Steve guy with a second layer of body textures, and currently seems to be unused. Basically, she's saying: "If anyone finds out what this is used for in the game, let me know."
As for Connected Textures, a fan of this texture pack already made support art for it. I suggest you do a forum search (upper right corner of the page) on both this thread or that mod's thread. You're bound to find it.
Oct 7, 2011Well, people should stay on the latest version of the texture pack always regardless of the Beta version they are playing (since they're retrocompatible, with the small exception of people who used to use terrain-based Wildgrass.) I know Misa wants to keep them that was as long as she can. So there's absolutely NOTHING Misa301/302/303 do that Misa304 doesn't do.Posted in: Resource Packs
This is mostly a general notice for everyone. Thanks for the heads-up, MacGyver, always good to know in case it comes up during tech support =P

I love this pack so much. Anyone got a screencap of how the new mobs look with this pack? Meaning Endermen, Blazes, Silverfish, etc.
The villagers shall remain a little surprise for now =P

Wow! Just one day after PRE3 and you've already got it updated! Nice job!!!
Less than 24 hours after pre-release 3 was uploaded, actually!
Quote from MacGyver420Only problem i see is the enchantment text doesnt seem to be pulling from your pack and instead uses the default alternate.png font but that should be a minecraft issue and not an issue with your pack.
The reason you don't see her custom fonts is because you have not used MCPatcher.
It doesn't matter that Minecraft no longer crashes. Besides getting rid of some nasty bugs on the sides of grass, it is mandatory to apply MCPatcher to enjoy high resolution texture packs to their fullest.
Sep 22, 2011These pre-releases come out at the worst possible times. I'll be sure to let Misa know as soon as she wakes up.Posted in: Resource Packs
I ask all Misa fans to have a little patience this time around, she'll come through but two unseen mobs and a slew of items out of nowhere will take time to texture and test.
