posted a message on Is it more or does 1.9 seems like a little too much...

Dual Wielding probably will break some old things, but at the same time it will open up new possibilities.

posted a message on Where Should I Put my Base?
I'd actually say the first one is the hardest to build on. Because if I build there, my only real option is to build on or under the overhang.

posted a message on Where Should I Put my Base?
I recently got the urge to create a new survival world, so I loaded up a random seed to get started. After gathering some basic supplies, I wandered around a bit to see where I want to settle down and build a base. Quickly, I found a few great areas which are all within a couple hundred blocks of spawn, but I don't know which one to choose.

And so, I'll let you guys make the decision for me, because I honestly love all three. Also If you are interested, the seed is -632597971728570683

Here is the first area, a massive overhang directly adjacent to spawn:
The second, a little cozy valley surrounded by forest hills in a crescent shape:
And the third area, a rather small indent in the back of a insanely high mountain:

posted a message on Would you pay to have a cape on your minecraft player??? ~IDEA
A cool idea from the first look, but really, this would be the fist step to senseless microtransactions. Once Microsoft sees that the playerbase is willing to spend money on this kind of thing, it won't take long before paid DLC is available.

posted a message on Which version should they end Minecraft?
    Quote from Jaspurra»
just like any popular game ever, it'll stop when newer and better games come out. People will still play it, probably for many many years after they stop updating it

But the thing with Minecraft is that its such a unique and flexible game. It attracts millions of players of all ages across PC, console, and mobile. It will probably take a few decades for this player base to dwindle off. Also, with Minecraft, it simply can never age technologically. Yes, it is made on Java, a rather old coding engine, but it is surprising flexible compared to more modern digital technologies.

Minecraft 1.2.5. Back when everything was nice and simple, not that I'm complaining.

Try re-downloading Minecraft maybe? I've never heard of anyone having problems akin to yours.

Exactly what kind of base do you want to build? A castle? A town? A random, cool looking structure like Etho's or Monkeyfarm's?

I have been playing Minecraft ever since 1.2.5, and I've burned through many survival worlds doing so. Not once have I ever legitly seen a charged creeper.

posted a message on Gamebreaking World Generation Bug
I just created a random creative world in 1.8 to derp around and test out some stuff, but that is impossible as for right now because of how the world fails to generate. I spawned, and it seems that only a few chunks around me were actually generated. This already happened to me on many occasions while using 1.8, so I'm a bit worried because it makes certain worlds unplayable.

    Pictures:

Also, the same problem, but on a different world:

Does anyone have any suggestion on how to fix the problem?

posted a message on Is there a way to delete added cheats?
Well, turn cheats off, revert back to survival mode, and manually get rid of all the stuff she added. Either that or load in an older save of that world (if you have one).

posted a message on Removing the stripes from glass block in a legal way
    Quote from AdhaM282000»
I know I know, but some people are too lazy to do this, and it`s a way to add it to vanilla without removing the old one (because I know there is people who likes the old one)

I'm pretty sure it takes more effort and time to make these "pure" glass blocks than it does to install a resource pack.

posted a message on 1.8: Wolves spawning in wrong biomes?
I recently wanted to find a nice seed to put my 1.8 survival world in, and after flying around in creative for a bit, I found something strange:

As you can see, there is something terribly wrong with this pictures. There are four wolves... in a plains biome. There is a taiga biome (where wolves normally spawn) about two hundred blocks in the distance, but it is impossible that the wolves came from all the way over there, because mobs never wander to far from where they originally spawned.
