It would be the main developer of Bukkit 1.7.2 beta, because Bukkit 1.7.2 beta doesn't support some of 1.7.2 commands and the full 1.7.2 Bukkit doesn't exist so far, I think.

This just screams, "I'm spoiled". The Bukkit developers (and other developers) bust their ass making mods for everyone without pay, yet if something doesn't come out perfectly, many people get outraged while remaining ignorant to the daunting task they have -- especially since 1.7 is a huge change from 1.6 code-wise.

MCP is barely out. Wanna snuff them off too since it doesn't meet your satisfactory deadline so you can get a little more entertainment of a video-game?

Here's some more images of the Junípero Strait Crossing. Features a fixed cable stay bridge with a 22km 550kV AC intertie & the old minecart railway on a modified cantilever truss bridge. I updated the streetlights, added traffic signals, added traffic cameras, and updated guardrails as well. Added some proper abutments and added some culverts where needed based on the terrain. For some of the viaducts, I intend to use anvils as bridge bearings on the supports.

On a 1.7 server I play on, I added road signs via maps.

dose any one even use Kalvin? (I'm sorry if you do...)

Kelvin and Celsius are practically the same. Celsius is just translated to properties of water, while Kelvin is used for absolute temperatures in chemistry.

Celsius is translated by 273.15 units. So the freezing point of water at 0ºC is 273.15K. Room temperature is 20ºC or 293.15K. Absolute zero is 0K or -273.15ºC. Using Kelvin for meteorology would be impractical due to the high numbers.

While I do think inconsistent moderation is an issue, it's pretty inevitable in a large community like this. While I think that 226,000:1 user to mod ratio was a moot point to bring up, moderators do have to deal with a plethora of content, and I'm sure most of their actions are based off of other users reporting rather than actual browsing.

Honestly, I stopped frequenting PPNS, since it seems like the 'regulars' (at the time I've been there) have left and the quality of discussions have diminished. I'm not interested in seeing 20 religion topics with the same discussion of frustrated teenage drama involving their high school choir going to church or something silly like that. I think why a lot of people there left was more-so the amendment to the forum conduct and tighter rules.

Another problem is, some things could be taken out of context. A cheeky way of explaining a fault in someone's logic, which could be misinterpreted into something more aggressive, and that's where the grey area gets messy. I was satirizing with a hyperbolized example of what a user was practically doing since he didn't understand why I was arguing against him on it, and lo behold, I get an infraction for flame-baiting.

The forum will be moving from the current platform (IPB) to the Curse platform (Cobalt). New functionality, new design :)

Will it be compatible with Tapatalk or at least have a mobile skin?

Pretty sure he saying that people won't notice the cigarette until people recognize and look at the shirt more clearly over time, assuming they don't do that already the first time they see it.

Also, it's perfectly fine for the average school. cigarette's aren't illegal. More and more frowned upon now, but not illegal. And like what everyone else said already, it just depends on your school - is everyone around you dressed in Ralph Lauren polos or t-shirts from Hot Topic?

It is illegal if you're under 18 in the U.S..

    Quote from HeroTNT

    Agh, doesn't matter.

And, once again, height does matter!

And in my opinion, which is totally true, due to almost all of my family being tall, and it matters more what height your parents are, I will be 178 cm< tall!

So please, stop trying to make me think otherwise.

No offense, but it sounds like you need to grow up. And I'm not talking about height.

I'm a 21 year old male at 5'7" (170 cm) and I do just fine with females (even taller females). I have shorter male friends who I envy with their girlfriends who are actually taller or as tall as me...

Unless you want to try out for the NBA, height doesn't really matter too much.

Rule #1 of the Internet and people of the Internet: Don't take anything too seriously. People try to get attention any way they want, including negative attention. Feeding them only makes them continue to do it.

    And suits are awesome.

Adding roundabouts to the arsenal of KEKDOT engineering. Roundabouts for moderate traffic densities is much more efficient than stop signs, and much cheaper than traffic signals.

In the background, I also added a dead-end transmission line tower to go to underground power (ideally to a transformer substation which hasn't been built yet). There's also a cell phone tower seen to the right.

For some reason, the engineering buildings at my university has some of the dirties restrooms on campus. Second would be the libraries, and last is the business school.

My workplace's bathroom (a Pacific NW retail store) is pretty nasty, but I just use the employee restroom.

Remarkably, the men's restroom at one of the bars I frequent is actually pretty clean. That, or I'm always too drunk when I go in there to notice the mess.

very good, the road is clay I assume?

Yep. I took the screenshots and built many roads and upgraded some of the existing roads on this map. Occasionally, carpet may be used for reflectors, but clay makes a much better surface than wool or coal in my opinion.

Here's another picture on this server of a balanced cantilever span just before the cable-stay span.

posted a message on Lattice Steel Transmission Tower

A much easier thing to build in Minecraft, and it's a more modern style for transmission line towers is the tubular steel tower. The lattice tower is about 138' (42m) tall. The steel tubular tower is 165' (50m) tall.

    Reference:

Both of these towers should have a wire-span length of 1150' (350m), so there should be 350 blocks between towers.

Thanks! I referenced a CAD drawing for it. I tried to do it relatively to scale. Most towers are about 130' tall with a ROW of 250'. ROW doesn't really matter too much in Minecraft, but buildings and trees shouldn't be within 38 blocks of the center of the towers.

Transportation corridors can obviously share ROW given that the appropriate hardware doesn't exceed around 30-40'.

When I figure out what material I'll use for the transmission lines, I'll have to add colored balls over freeway crossings to warn low flying vehicles following the highway corridor of transmission towers. (Also, victor skyway maps show all transmission lines, windmills, towers, etc., but it's an extra precaution).
