Why do you want to join: because having a small community to hang back relax and do some mc with is awesome. was part of a few private's but they were eventually closed
What would you do if you saw someone griefing: i'd ask them why they were doing it and then tell the owner who was doing it and why they say they were.
In my snapshot server, I've come across a problem. I was in the nether for a few hours, trying to get wither skulls, when I noticed my armor was almost dead. All 4 pieces had Protection IV on them, so I didn't want them to die. I went home, grabbed a bunch of diamonds, and went to the anvil. I had recently put Feather Falling IV and Unbreaking III on the boots via book and renamed it. The leggings already had Unbreaking 3 on them; the helmet and chestplate only had protection. I repaired my helmet, the most damaged piece, with 3 diamonds for 19 levels. Just out of curiosity, I looked at what the other pieces would cost:
Chestplate: 18 levels
Legs: 17 levels
Boots: 35 levels
Some of you may have noticed something just doesn't belong here. The boots cost TWICE AS MUCH to repair than either of the two. It's not the durability, repairing the helmet only cost 19 levels and it was the most damaged. It's not the number of enchants, the chestplate has 1 enchant and costs more to repair than the leggings which have 2. It's not renaming, the pick in slot 1 is named and doesn't cost much more than the pick in slot 5, which isn't. It must be Feather Falling that's screwing things up. I had repaired this armor several times before, and I certainly would have noticed the boots taking 35 levels. I'd test this more, but I'm a bit busy at my cave spider grinder trying to get the ridiculous amount of levels to fix my boots. Perhaps I haven't read the patch notes well enough and missed something really important. Is this the case? Or is FF really screwing me over?
Hello, and I'm just a guy on a snapshot server who's trying to build a castle. I flattened out an area of land, and measured it with blocks and cords. I came up with 2 different numbers. The cords say the square I leveled out is 63x63, but the blocks I laid out said it's 64x64. Lemme show some pics to show ya'll what I mean. Here's the blocks showing that it's 64x64:
Here's the two corners showing that it's 63x63:
Which one is correct? Is this a bug? Am I just being retarded?
Rate your building skill (1-10): Depends what I'm building. I'd say around 6.
How many hours can you play(per week): 20 or more
Can you make videos?: Probably not, but I will try.
Will you follow my rules?: Sure
Do you work well with other players?: Usually.
Why do you want to join?: I haven't been on a server in months and I miss playing on them. Small survival servers are where some of my greatest minecraft memories lie.

Why I want to join: I love Feed The Beast and it's a lot of fun coaching newbies in all the mods.I know lots about most of the mods, having watched Duncan's Laboratory and the Jaffa Factory through episode 1. That failing, I watched Direwolf20's entire season 5 SSP series. Most don't know a lot about beebreeding, and I've spent hours on a test world learning everything I can(diamond bees even!) about it. Treebreeding seems to be my weakest point.
Age and where you are from: 17 and Missouri, United States
FTB/Minecraft Experiance: I started playing Minecraft about this time last year. I started playing FTB about 3-4 months ago, but am very experianced in most of the mods because I played the Technic pack for most of my mutton minecraft career.
Have you ever been banned from a server: Not that I know of.
Why do you want to be on this server: I've gotten bored of single player FTB and want to experiance it with a partner or two.
Funniest joke you know: World peace.
Anything else you want me to know ( not needed but helps) : I tend to outlive all the servers I play on. If I'm accepted, you'll be seeing me often. If I'm given a choice between creative and survial, definitly survival. I usually outlive my armor. I'm terrible at PVP, so I don't bother. I'm usually quiet on chat.
More info: I'm one of the more recent Minecraft players, been playing since the end of 1.2.5. I started playing tekkit around November last year and have mastered Industrialcraft, Buildcraft, and Equivilent Exchange, as well as lots of experience in Redpower 2. A working munitions factory is my greatest achievement, it made muskets(with bayonet!), musket balls, cannons, cannon balls, and dynamite before the server closed down. I'm really looking forward to playing

Age: 16
Reason for joining: My old tekkit server banned me for "Overmining with the Destruction Catalyst and Quarries"
Have you ever been banned?: See above.
Minecraft Career: I started playing a little over 6 months ago, and quickly discovered the Technic Pack. I played that for 2 months, learning from the various Yogscast videos on it. I finally started playing Tekkit when I got fed up with Thaumcraft. I've been in 3 servers, two of them closed down, and the latest one banned me for the aforementioned reason a few weeks ago. On the first server, I built a roughly 40X20 factory that only made muskets and coal coke before it closed down. In the other one that closed down, I dug a 64X64 quarry down to bedrock, filled it in with obsidian(thank you, Mercurial Eye!), built a 64X64 factory over it, and only got the lights done before it closed down too. In the latest one, I got a house, a quarry, a few machines, and a Destruction Catalyst.
What I plan on doing: I plan on building a factory that makes Balkin's Weapon Mod stuff, 2 working battleships, a wooden sailing one with Weapon Mod cannons(stationary), and a Bismarck class battleship with my special working guns(it'll move!), and just having fun.

Experiance: I know what almost everything is and what it does, but RP Control is a bit tricky and I haven't touched ComputerCraft.

4: How long have you played Minecraft?: ~6 months
5: How long have you played Tekkit?: ~4 months
6: How truly old are you?: 16
7: What Tekkit mods are your profession?: I'm adept at Industrialcraft, Buildcraft, EE, and the weapon mod, am learning redpower and railcraft.
8: Where do you live: The United States.
9: How often will you be able to play Tekkit per day generally?: 4-6 hours on weekdays, 8-10 on weekends.
10: Why should I whitelist you?: I'm friendly, a good mediator, patient with the less experianced, and will cooperate with anyone who won't grief me and speaks English.
