I just hope simo is able to keep the wonderful set of commands and play environment we're accustomed to. I know this is a technically demanding update. Personally, I would prefer he take a little longer adjusting to the 1.3.1 version, and address a couple of long-standing issues also with the next version, such as the editwand in creative mode limitation (although I've become quite used to the workaround), and the ability to use //regen, and preserving chest contents across copy/paste. Those enhancements would be worth the wait.

I have never known the //regen command of World Edit to work as long as I've been using SPC, at least mc 1.8.1. It always seems to work fine in the SMP (bukkit) environment. It's hard not to conclude that this inability is an extended feature of SPC and not a world edit problem. If anyone has any info to the contrary, or knows how to get //regen to work under SPC and mc 1.2.5, I'd be glad to hear about it.

I love Single Player Commands and wouldn't want to play Minecraft without it. There is one small problem I keep having, I don't know whether it's me or the code. Selecting blocks for World Edit, with the wooden axe wand, works fine and gives the expected results in Survival mode ... but when I switch to Creative mode, the program selects more blocks than I designate, or incorrectly associates the blocks I left-click and right-click on with their world coordinates. The work-around is easy enough - do all World Edit selecting in survival mode. But it is awkward. Not a high priority problem, but I would like to resolve it. Thanks.

Okay, I see this problem has already been reported. Sorry for the dup
