I will disable the mod for now, at least until you added more functionalities to the metals.
Because, you know the current release of metals didn't really offer anything rather than more colors of ordinary tools (like more colorful axes, pickaxes, helmets, etc). By reviving the machine tiers, it will encourages people to keep farming for other metals.
After reading your previous posts, you said you are working for something, I'm looking forward to it.
The goal of the mod, if I remember rightly, was to "expand the bland mining system of vanilla Minecraft." It does that rather well by ensuring that you find a bit more than iron, gold and sometimes diamonds while mining. It becomes more about deciding what ores you want to keep for alloys and what ones you want to toss to make more room rather than simply collecting ores in mass like the vanilla game.
I understand there is little progression between certain metals, but is that really a bad thing? If it had jumps like going from stone to iron to diamond, the mod would add too little content to even be interesting. It's just adding variety to mining.
You place the resource pack zip file in .minecraft/resourcepacks
Then select it from the in game menu and move it over to the right side, or the "active resource packs" side, that is correct.
Would the orespawn164v14 be the problem? When I deleted the 4... I went one at a time to see what was going on... Furniture worked fine. I went to add orespawn along with furniture, nope, crashed. so I deleted furniture, and just used orespawn, nope, crashed. Tried the furniture and morphing, game crashed..
IS there a problem with orespawn 164v14??
Thank you!
Chances are yes because I believe it's made for 1.6.2, though I'm not sure what mod exactly you're referring to, I just had to google it and trust I found the right one. A link to the mods would be nice, as well as you should try it on a 1.6.2 game.
I am getting the exact same error. I just downloaded the techniclauncher to try to play Attack of the B Team Mod and I recieved the error upon first logging in and within 20 seconds get extreme lag which makes the game unplayable. Unmodded Minecraft doesn't give me any problems.
I was wondering if there is a way to uninstall the technic launcher and try reinstalling it again? Just deleting the file doesn't do the trick and I couldn't find the techniclauncher in my remove programs. I hope we get a solution here, because I am in the same boat as you.
The technic files are in the same directory as your .minecraft, should be %appdata% and then delete .technic
I believe one of the mods is messing with resource allocation, I'll do some tests to see if I'm correct.
Do you happen to have a 32-bit version of JRE installed? There may be a chance that it's trying to use it rather than the 64-bit version you're wanting it to use.
A quick bump and update, I can prevent java from eating all of my resources by editing it's affinity settings in windows task manager, I removed one of the processor cores that was being used, and although the error still pops up and 3 of my 4 cores are maxed out, it seems to work fine again without crashing my computer. This could be a java problem, but it's strange that this only happens now since I haven't updated java in several months.
I also recieved this error today, and am too running near 25 mods on 1.6.4, only a couple of which are 'big', have similar specs on my computer, but do not recieve a computer crash. after restarting the computer and the server, I no longer recieved the error. Perhaps it's a background thread the server created that's rogue now? Maybe you could try a restart and see if you're still getting the error?

Wonder when the sphax texture patch will be out?

As for MCPE, I voted yes because I really don't want to hold it from those who want it, but it also doesn't really matter much to me.

Do you plan on continuing updates? This thread seems fairly low traffic.

Indeed it did.

Didn't seem to fix the issue.
