I've got two double chests full of leaves, and I also miss the original EE.
So I was wondering if anyone could add in a few recipes:
Five leaves (shapeless) > Dirt
Eight dirt (also shapeless) > Cobble/Smooth stone
I would really like those two recipes added.

The Mob Spawner GUI could be improved.
Perhaps clicking on the entire name instead of just the box, and maybe making it possible to close by pressing the inventory key.

At the moment the way it is set up, it flows. It explains the feature of the mod first, then how to download then other important information. People should stop being lazy and actually read it.
For most people the first instinct is to ask everyone else first, and usually in the meantime they read the post waiting for answers. Thus finding the answers and then never doing anything about the post. Or just ask first and never read later. Reading is anything for that matter is kind of going away. Anyway, [/minirant]

It's really unnecessary considering you've set up the enchanting for it to be essentially indestructible at level 5, and all it's doing past that point is costing more experience to do. But if you aren't using the Better Enchanting mod along with it, you're bound to get higher than level 5 which renders the shield useless. So that's good it's getting fixed.
You ought to make the "Incompatible with Smart Moving" and such a bit bigger. And really it shouldn't be the last thing on the list, now that I think about how people read posts (HAH, AS IF EVERYBODY ACTUALLY READS THE WHOLE THING).
It makes a lot of sense to post what's incompatible a bit higher, instead of at the bottom of the post. I'd say it might make the people asking about why they can't see their weapons on them see why.
Also, I just put the More Enchanting mod on (the one just adds more levels to it. eg. Sharpness X instead of Sharpness V) And if you enchant a shield with Protection any more than five it doesn't quite work. If you try to block the block meter hits zero immediately. So there's that.
Oh! I forgot about those banners. I got them back in 1.8. I made like, seven different faction castles and had imaginary wars with them (seeing as I have to friends that play Minecraft...)
That's exciting, I didn't notice that was you who made them.
Side note: How long do you think it would take you to update colored enchantments (if you felt you had time to)? I feel I would use the hell out of that, too.
I've just tired my very first adventure map, both without, and then with this mod. Big difference, loads more fun with it.

Warning: when a tool you have in the dual-wielding mode breaks, it doesn't get destroyed. it gets reset!
Yeah that confused me the first time my crappy club "broke" three times.
It still plays the sound of it breaking but then the durability goes back to full minus one use.
EDIT: As for people asking about using weapons from other mods, they may work as default. If not add the item ids to the Mine & Blade config file (WeaponIds variable) as a comma-space seperated numbers
eg this will alow hoes to be used in the weapon slots
WeaponIds: 290, 291, 292, 293, 294
All blocks will be ignored (torch is a special case for the mod) and it will only alow items that do not have a function on right click (except for block) to be either duel wielded or placed in the off hand. This automatic scan of items is the reason there is no custom "offhand item ids" function.
