The headshoot would be nice if they nerf the body attacks, since currently bows are pretty strong , specially with power enhancements. About the pickable arrows, I don't agree, people already can make experience farms and create a bow with infinity, making arrows farmable kinda take away the effort of trying to get infinity.
Oh yes please, that had to be one of the most annoying entities in the game. You should include all the weird behaviors that should be fixed and had been mentioned in the first post like:
-They shouldn't brake so easily.
-Bumping them shouldn't move them so many blocks away, or maybe add an option to tie them to wood.
-The controls should be improvement.
-Fix all the clipping errors when putting/using them on land.
-Unmounting them should put you on top of the boat.
That's not very intuitive, you have a big red block you expect it to emit an output all the time, a feature like that is going to be very confusing, specially for new players.
I support the general idea of Mojang adding more biome exclusive items/drops/mobs, like the cocoa beans on jungles, slimes on swamps, glowstone on the nether, but not forcing the player to gather already existing renewable resources only in specific biomes, this should be exclusive for new items.
I'm not sure if that's actually possible without heavily reworking the way save files function.
Is up to Mojang to decide that, that's no reason to not support what could be a really good feature for adventure map makers. Also there's mods already that have the ability to create multiple save points, I don't see why Mojang shouldn't be able to create something like that, and make it so those save points are loaded instead of the autosave when the player dies.
Sound like a great idea, that would bring a lot of new long and very hard adventure maps, or even adventure maps with platform or beat em up style where you progress through levels, you have my support.
There's a mod that add falling star to the game and I love chasing them, I would love to see something like that in minecraft, specially if is a rare event, that one have my support.
The falling leaf is just a nice little detail, it should be a graphic option and that is, the same for the shinning ore, and mist.
The meteor crash is just too much, the lack of simplicity in it just brake the flavor of vanilla and the same goes for the other suggestions.
I prefer playing knowing that I can lost my precious experience if I'm not careful enough, and I think that's an essential part of what Survival is, good for a mod but it shouldn't be a feature in vanilla.
That's something Minecraft is lacking for sure, some mods have approached that using ropes or just by been able to put the chicken in your head (that would be a little ridicoulos with a cow) with right click if you have bare hands or using some item. Maybe they should just allow you to carry baby animals in your hands/head from one place to another. Either way, I support the general idea of having a way to carry animals from one place to another, beside it would make exploration way more interesting, since now you have an excuse to maybe travel thought an ocean to find a Jungle to bring an Ocelot with you, etc.
What sort of tecnhical limitations? It would probably require some annoying code changes, but it sounds more than possible. Just switch from doing increments/decrements to mod operations. World generation might require some tweeking too for the wrapping borders, but that's hardly a technical limitation.
You make it sound like wrapping border is a simple thing, you need to make sure the procedural generation some how mirror the borders so the terrain doesn't look out of place, you need to make sure that happens on the wrapped corners too. What I'm saying is that an addition like this don't add much to gameplay, it just add some curious feature, they're not going to bother doing something like this when there's so much better stuff that can be added to the game with less work and more impact in the gameplay.
Why do we make stairs if there are ladders? Ender Chests require Obsidian, Blaze Powder, and Ender Pearls, so it's not available until Late- to Endgame stages, this provides a more limited option for earlier in the game.
Ladders and stairs have a different aesthetical purpose; The idea of end game content is making things easier since you was able to overcome the challenges of the game and so deserve them. Making early game easier defeat the purpose of survival mode and just make the game boring faster, if something like this get introduced in early game then people don't need to be careful at caves because they just can protect their items sending them back to the surface and then they can die as many times as they want. I mean, the idea in general is good and I would love to play with something like this but in a mod, I don't think it goes well with vanilla minecraft.

Did you read the original post? That don't repair the map if the player dies since it don't load a save, that just position you in the spawnpoint.
