The minecraft website is currently experiencing severe problems including 500 errors, pages not loading properly, and difficulty using the store. Am I the only one having this issue?
This is an idea I've been hinking of this idea for a while now. How about a mod that when you right click a clock you can chose a time on the clock, and if you still have the clock when that time goes of it makes a noise or a pop-up so you dont have to worry about looking at your clock constantly and you can have you hotbar filed with other things while in caves.
I'm bumping this because my idea is virtually identical to his. I think this would be a great idea. Does an alarm clock mod exist already, or no? If not, how difficult would it be to implement?
No matter what kind of player you are, you probably have a preferred building style and location (unless you've chosen the "Nomad" option). I've created a pretty general poll asking where you guys like to build your house. You can post more specifics about your location yourself, but I was curious, because I often seek out similar landforms from time to time.
For instance, I would say that I prefer to live on small to medium sized islands. I don't really know why, but I do. Because I do play Dwarf Fortress occasionally, I also enjoy to dig into cliffs and hills. I find that underground farms are far better in most ways to above ground farming.
Coordinates are useful, aren't they? They tell you where things are! Writing them down or typing them in Notepad or something can be useful, but having a list in the corner of the screen would be a good solution.
My idea involves two things. I don't know how hard they would be, and when the modding API is implemented, I may try to create this myself.
1: Display current coordinates in the corner rounded to the nearest integer. For the purposes of this mod, we don't need the double precision numbers that pressing F3 gives us.
2: Map a key to mark the current coordinates, and make a screen that lets us view and label them at will, with the ability to put it right back in the corner underneath the current coordinates.

How hard would this be to implement, do you think?
The "Halloween Update" section was supposed to be merged with survival mode upon release, and with the beta coming up, it would be nice to have a section to talk about it.
Suggestion
A - Merge current Halloween section with Survival, as originally planned.
B - Replace it with "Beta Discussion" or something similar.
For Whitelisting, please post the following:
- IGN: Inglonias
- What do you like to do in minecraft? What is your passion?
- I really like to be a part of a city or town and build functional houses as opposed to visually appealing ones. I also like to build into terrain. My Single Player house IS a hillside.
A way to pass the night would be nice. Part of the reason I don't play in much except peaceful is that I can't stand waiting until daylight to start building and mining again!

There you go. Go find the graphics card drivers for your card, and update them. In fact, it said to do that in the error message that you posted.

So, apparently booster tracks are faster now. Do we have an optimal spacing for the new tracks yet, or have we yet to run tests?

Why its awesome: FREAKING ISLAND CHAIN! This area has tropical islands and stuff. Best seed I've ever seen. Ever.
No pics, because I'm too busy playing!

I believe I started playing classic a year and a half before that.
So I liked Minecraft before it was cool.

I've never seen such a well thought out suggestion thread in my entire stay here...

(If anybody makes any Portal references... I'll start off.)
The cake is a LIE.
