    It is so great to see this texture pack still alive! My Favorite since its original release. Just recently got back into Minecraft but sadly I can not use the 1.8 version because the server I am playing on is still 1.7.10 due to mods. Is there a download for the 1.7.10 version still available from somewhere?

    This sounds strange. I am using the Glimmar Pack wich is 32x32 and have no issues at all. I also use Minecrafter to play with mods. The 32x32 pack has no texture file for items though and I use a simple 16x16 Item Graphics file from painterly. That might be why I don´t have any problem.

    So I have been playing a game with these settings for a while and the landscape is interesting and seems to flow naturally. What you realize the most though is how different mining is. I found a Huge deposit of ore and coal by sheer luck early in the game(Got about 5 stacks of iron from that on). But now I have been digging for hours and no luck. Found a deposit of 4 Gold blocks and one deposit of 6 Redstone, but no more Iron or coal. Will try to use a mapper to "cheat" to find out where all the resources are. Maybe I am just unlucky or they are really Spread far and wide a part. Will need to adapt my mining method then. these are for you: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: :Diamond: plus: :iapprove:

    Hi all,

    I just wanted to share my awesome experience with Minegunner I had yesterday. It was a new game I started, Steampunk themed, so this mod fit perfectly. For more challenge I also added Mo Creatures. So here I was just starting out and came up from the mines with my first load of ore and put it in the Smelter.

    When all of a sudden I hear loud moaning and.. crashing sounds. Something I never heard before. That´s when I realized that must have been the Ogre I had seen earlier a ways away from my base! But that was not away. That was close. That sound was coming right at me. Right from behind the wall where the smelter was placed!! My underground base was in peril. I nearly freaked. I pulled out Smelted Iron as soon as it was done, started to craft bullets in parallel. All the while hearing the damn beast smashing blocks and getting closer and closer.

    Finally I had the the first Iron Flintlock.. Forgot the sulphur had to craft some quickly. The smashing sound was so loud I barely was able to hear my own heart racing, I ran Outside, saw the Ogre, "CLICK" I had forgotten to load, had to run away, open the inventory to load it manually and just when I thought "now my base is gone, he must be through" I came up behind him, he turned around to attack me, I clicked left "NOOOO", got hit once, paddled back and finally Aimed, pulled the trigger and BOOM, smoke settled, ogre disappears and the wall... was still standing. He had dug through a lot of rows of Rock already and one or two more strikes would have crushed my base wall and with it all my crafting supply chests tools etc. That was intense but so satisfying! I will freely admit, if the ogre would have succeeded and destroyed my base I would be very annoyed with the manual loading process, but as it worked out fine it added so much tension that when it worked I let out a resounding "YES!!"
