    Server is now online! Althrough not public yet, since we want to set up a proper spawn and such stuff beforehand. You can however, make an application to get whitelisted right now, or even gain access!

    I don't get that, but I know that it's a bug caused by SPC's "helmet" command, that basically adds any block or blockID that you type as a helmet, so you can wear a stone block for a helmet, and it defaults to a new block if you add a new mod that conflicts with a current one in some way or another...

    Quick suggestion: Making the snow symbol able to lift the player, similar as the lapis and gold symbol "lifts" mobs (except that they never really does get lifted, only fall down slowly when jumping).

    And also, an ability to merge runes maybe? Or simply to be able to place several runes on symbols. I want a diamond and gold blaze symbol, and also the iron symbol with a gold and a diamond rune.

    Just a question, but have you ever pondered adding handheld magic? I'm not that familiar with Terry Pratchett, but it would be cool if you could equip the symbols and use them manually (like, using a mossy symbol like bonemeal and a blaze symbol like a flamethrower)

    Oh, just you wait... I noticed the "awareness" thing for the first time yesterday, several days after I installed it, and man it was fun! I was simply mining in my quarry when all of a sudden I heard some steps, and then a hurting sound as a creeper fell down from my stairs right next to me. I hit it once with my iron pickaxe but it exploded and left me with half a heart and one bloody ground. I quickly picked up all the stone and jumped up the stairs towards my food, but met another creeper going down.

    One and a half second later and several pieces of my stair gone, I jumped down the stairs again to try to reclaim my stuff, only to find another creeper. Yet another big piece of my stair dissapeared, and the third time I jumped down I noticed the cave I discovered earlier had a creeper dungeon in an unexplored part of my otherwise well-lit cave. The creepers had probably heard my mining and had walked towards me, summoning more with the smell of my blood.

    Believe me, it gets a lot harder, and if you havent secured all of your caves, you're dead if you get damaged.

    Oh, and I also did some research on the Alumentum, and its almost twice as powerful for each "evolution":
    Coal smelts 8 items, Glimmering Alumentum smelts 15, Glowing Alumentum smelts 30, and Incandescent Alumentum smelts 60. Which means that for one whole stack of items to smelt, you need simply one Incandescent Alumentum and three wood.

    That is the conduits, as shown in the first reciepe. They are made by four glass panes and one redstone, then you get eight conduits, which can make two nodes when combined with gold ingots.

    Also, What was the reciepe for the item template? I noticed the sprite of the detector changed after I upgraded, but now I cant find out how to make another one.

    Is the earth symbol placed flat on the ground facing up? If so then that is the problem - Symbols always work in a 7x7x7 area starting from their position and facing the same way they are facing. If you placed the earth symbol on the ground then it is just facing up into empty air. You can either place it one block lower than the surrounding dirt, or place it on the side of something facing towards your field.

    I used to have the gold rune improve the mossy symbol speed, but I removed it for some reason. Not sure why to be honest and I might add it back.

    Yeah, It was facing upwards on the same level as the crops, so that was probably the problem. I also noticed that I can use an iron symbol and a buildcraft obsidian (vacuum) pipe to make it completely automatic. :biggrin.gif:
