posted a message on RTX 3070, Ryzen 7 5800X low FPS with shaders.

I have an RTX 3070 GPU, and my CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. I'm playing on 4k display as my monitor is 4k. The only thing I should note before is my monitor is only 60hz. But my issue is beyond that.

I am using the shaderpack 'ProjectLuma' with 1X settings for Resolution Render and Shadow, etc. My shader preset is set on 'High'. For some odd reason I'm getting parts where I'm going down to 40-50 FPS instead of the capped 60.

I'm not sure if there's a setting with Optifine that'll increase this for RTX 30 cards or what or if 4k is just too much for high settings with shaders for an RTX 3070. Any help would be appreciated.

Also I'm not sure if I made a post before about this or not so forgive me if I did.

posted a message on Is there any mod to add newer version items to older verions?

Yep! That was one of them, although it only included blocks up to 1.14 update.

However FutureVersions worked for all the up to 1.16 blocks.

posted a message on Is there any mod to add newer version items to older verions?

I am playing Pixelmon Reforged (which is on 1.12.2) and most of these build tutorials I'm looking at are all up to date with Minecraft's latest version.

I was wondering if there's any mod to put newer items (from like 1.17 or such) to a lower version of Minecraft (1.12.2 in my case)?

You can make a test without 4k - in your display settings temporarily change your resolution to 2k

Switched to 2560x1440 and easily got 40-50 FPS.

    So I'm guessing it's the 4k aspect?

Maybe it refers to the RTX 30 Series

Others also report performance issues with these GPUs

You can try to install older Nvidia driver versions

Also make sure the Nvidia Overlay is disabled

Should I be getting that low FPS with my GPU on 4k and maxed out settings + shader settings?

Are there changes, if you reduce the view-distance to from 28 to 12

Yes, but not by much. Maybe a few FPS.

Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.

It's also best I tell I am also running in full 4k. Maybe that's why?

I had to window Minecraft if the last screenshot as the upload was bigger than 5MB.

When I'm in fullscreen though I get 20-25 FPS.

posted a message on Shaders low FPS?

A few months ago I bought my first 'actual' gaming PC.

It includes an RTX 3070, AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, 16GB of DDR4 RAM.

I'm trying to run shaders on mainly modpacks but I'm sure it'd do the same in vanilla (I'm not entirely sure).

For some reason I get a maximum of 40 FPS with max settings to quality and maxed shader settings.

Not sure if this is normal or not? Was wondering if someone can help me out here.

posted a message on Extremely high GPU usage when playing Minecraft

I've been receiving constant stuttering and FPS drops in Minecraft while playing.

I checked my task manager and noticed this:

Not sure if this is normal or not? But something is affecting my gameplay.

    I have an NVIDIA 960M with an Intel i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz.

I have 12GB of RAM with 6GB dedicated to Minecraft.

Can someone let me know what's going on please?

posted a message on FPS/Lag in Fullscreen

Ever since I installed Shaders to my Minecraft, whenever I try to play in fullscreen, I get FPS lag. But when I'm in Windowed it's perfectly fine. I'm trying to figure out the issue, because I know it isn't my laptop.

I have an ASUS with a 960M NVIDIA Video card. Intel i7's, I just don't get this.

    Any ideas?

posted a message on Issue with making a moving bomber plane.

So I recently found myself really interested in Redstone, I decided to take on making a moving bomber plane, found in many videos including this one:

However, I tried making it like 4 times the same way the guy in the video did. For some reason it just won't move. The one end moves but the other doesn't.

It's really getting frustrating and I'm not sure what to do.

    I'm on 1.8 trying this.

It seems the plugins are not running - are they shown with /plugins?

They're Bungee plugins, so not they won't show up with /plugins.

permissions for ServerSlash must be set up in the BungeeCord config.yml

can you use the commands as op?

Can't use the commands as OP either, nope.

the "owner" alredy declared with "*" - the following command lines are unnecessary

can the owner rank use these two plugin commands?

No, the owner can not use the AdvancedBan, or the ServerSlash.
