This is a mod that I had been thinking about for a while and thought it would be a good Idea to post it on the forums.


So to star you make a book like normal, and then you make a quill. To make one you take a feather and place it on top of 1 to get a quill. Then to make some ink you kill a squid and take the ink and take some glass or glass panes and put them in the same shape to make a bucket or bowl to get and ink vial. You put the ink on top of the vial and you have the ink. Then you mix the quill and ink in a crafting table or 2x2 grid and Pen and ink or quill and ink. Now to the main purpose of this mod, weighting in books. I am not quite sure how I would like it to be able to wright maybe something like an enchantment table you put the pen/quill and ink where you would put the item to enchant and the book in where the book is on the enchantment table GUI. Once you are done you may save your book and name it whether it be a memory or a log possibly a way to remember what you need to get done, to read simply right click with the book you want to read in your hotbar. I was also thinking you could actually store books in bookshelves by right clicking on the shelf like a chest but you can only store books on/in it.
